Blake isn't really a good scorer, he just crashes the net and gets garbage goals. He just happened to get a lot of them in his last year for NYI (contract year, no surprise..) As soon as he got to Toronto he was trying to hard to not seem like a bust so he keeps taking a ton of shots even though they aren't good shots which isn't his game.. that's why he'll never score 40 again.

that was a great goal, but the shootout is no way to decide a game. Hockey is a team game and should be won as a team during game play.

I think the shootout should be scrapped, it's good for the all-star game, but is not a fair way to win a game. If they do keep it, a shoot out win should be worth 2 points and a shoot out loss be 1 point and a regulation win be worth 3 points, that way all games are awarded the same amount of points (3).

No, he didn't come to a complete stop. Watch the puck. It's always moving. Perfectly legal. Just watch the video again, and keep your eye on the puck. As he turns his back watch his hands, they're already swinging the puck around.
