i don't watch the other storylines cause overall GL does suck. im a general hospital fan. but theirs no denying the awesomeness that is Otalia. but the little i have scene of other characters i wonder, why does frank buzz and reva yell so much? daisy ashley and marina equals annoying. josh and jeffrey and shane, hot!

More SPOILERS...Also, apparently Josh and Reva will not be getting back together by the end of the show which is pissing off their fandom something awful. Their fandom rivals Otalia's, so I don't know what the producer/writers are thinking there. Again, how hard is it to wrap up this show with happy couples and fans? Killing babies to wrap up the show? They have lost their minds.
Possible SPOILER alert....Well, besides Philip, Dr. Rick is going to kick the bucket, along with baby Henry. There may be more. I am scared for Emma. The writers have a thing for killing kids apparently. Nothing about killing off Frank or Rafe, of course. Rumor is that the executive producer has taken over the writing room and is intent on doing things her way, which is apparently doom and gloom. She is most likely to blame for lack of Otalia kissage as well.
cscgirl13, I am completely baffled on why the producer and/or writers are intent on ending the show with rumored death and destruction. The viewer numbers are embarrassing and I am sure more people will tune out as the show gets more depressing. It would appear that we should just be happy if Liv and Nat are alive at the end. I guess that would be "hopeful". I am pissed enough at how the Otalia storyline is going & can only imagine how upset long time viewers will be at what is rumored to come.
How sad our writers are unconscious at the end of a beautiful love story.i can't believe they are free lancing through each week on what's next w/otalia. they have lost the momentum of otalia & half the cast. All the love scenes & eye contact w/olivia & natalia was for what ? if natalia pregnant what point are you making? it's wrong for natalia & olivia to kiss but, it's ok, to have a baby out of wedlock. where are you going w/this baby scene because you have lost me. i don't get it.
With her lady gun, wearing those "killer" jeans, a vest, the top gun shades and a little smile at the corner of her mouth. I would be sad for emma, but oh the sweet moment of satisfaction.

I hope there is an Otalia happy ending, but a true happy ending would occur only if Frank is dead, sent to prison for life, or otherwise kept from simpering after Natalia and his unfortunate genetic offspring. Then we will still be stuck with Rafe. Sucky. There are rumors that there will be a very happy ending with a possible wedding, but this is what I would say to keep people watching, if I were in charge.The current theme of GL seems to be "life sucks and then u die,"so I am pessimistic.

Olivia has been through so much, and now her daughter Ava's father is dead. We know Phillip (Emma's dad)doesn't have long to live either. Was it 3 months the doctor's gave him? The writer's better give Olivia Natalia to deal with all this because it's more than anyone could bear. Just how alone does Liv have to get before they through her a little happiness?
I know some of u don't watch all of GL, but if u can, watch 7/14 epi when Josh is talking to Reva. It's like he's talking about Otalia. --The writer's did great this week with the subtlties. The Bizzie vows--"I choose you line", when Dinah tells Mallet that the guy upfront thought he was cute, when Reva says that family doesn't have to be related, but it's the people that take care of u when you're sick and so much more. It all goes back to Otalia. Great writing!

Flashback to Livi's SF trip after the spa. Dimples couldn't go 2 days without telling Livi how hard it was being home without her--and their commitment to each other wasn't even as solid at that point--and Livi has to go 4 weeks without even knowing WHERE nat IS, much less a single word from her. ROUGH!!. But I know Nat is catching hell TOO.

It is nice the guy still has fans, but I feel the character adds nothing to the show. He is still moping about a women he dated for two weeks who never said "I love you" to him. If I were a fan of his, I would be mad at the writers for making him so pathetic & unlikable. Also, give the poor actor a better wardrobe w/ better fitting suits and a decent haircut.

After Josh tells Olivia about Jeffrey, her first thought is of Ava of course - natural. But then she asks about Reva - very sincerely, and if you don't know the history b/w Olivia and Reva, you may not realize the meaning behind this spontaneous expression of compassion. They were mortal enemies- Reva at times was really evil to O [although our O got her licks in to at times]. But Reva stepped up a bit when O was dying, and now a changed O has nothing but compassion for Reva. Touching....
About Frank, it looks like his daughter is a sociopathic murderer and possibly on the way to becoming a serial killer. I know we always shouldn't blame the parent for the kid, but let's blame Frank for his psycho daughter, please. This will be great evidence to present in the inevitable court drama when Liv gets custody of his kid. Also, need to mark down that he gives his diabetic mentee alcohol. Let's collect the evidence of his epic FAIL as a parent now and present it to the writers.

Ok, on the radio the other day, they were talking about how pregnant women have the highest sex drive out of anyone. Of course my thoughts quickly turned to Natalia and Olivia. Dare we hope? I am sure the writers thought that a pregnant women would be a great way to avoid sex, but in real life, Nat would be on Liv like a fat kid on cake. I don't give the writers any credit to see this though and think they view this as a great way to de-sex Natalia.

It is so sad the way the lesbian s/l are ending lately and its not always the writers fault, sometimes the actresses leaves the show for some reason. Not that Im against that, it's just business. But that is why I love my CC more b/cuz even though she cant tell the writers what to do, I believe she can at some point remind them to give us a happy Otalia ending. CC really invests in her fans, she listens to her crowd and I love her for that.
Wouldn't it be great if Emma was the one who told Natalia how much Olivia has missed her? She has no ulterior motive, apart from seeing her two mommies happy. She isn't one of the judgemental people - others should see the world through her eyes - love is love, no matter who it is.
Look at how she loves her Dad, and I'm sure she knows the bad thing that he did. How she loves Rafe, even though he was in prison for shooting Jeffery. That kid is just the best kid anyone could have.
As much as I love Otalia, there is no comparing them to Pepsi. At least Pepsi was allowed to love one another, even it was for a short time. All these two seem to do is deal with road blocks. It's so old. True Silvia died and yes it was tragic. But don't blame the writers for Mariann's decision. I'd rather have someone 100% there or 100% not. I have about 0 faith in writers and entertainers any more. Just when it seems to be going somewhere...2009 is turning out to be a said year for us.

Good news, I did hear that both Fatima and Patricia (Maca y Esther) will be on next season. What I don't know is the state in which Esther will be in. You can't just fall out a window and walk away.
But sadly, I heard Claudia (Carla) will be leaving in September. Now I can't verify that's true but I've seen it a few times. Very sad as we didn't even get a chance for Stella and Carla to take of. Instead we get the typical gay girl crushing on straight woman. I give up!

Actually, we had a show in the UK called Sugar Rush, in which the main character came out as gay in the 1st season, and the finale of season 2 was them realising that they were meant to be together, and the show finished with them moving in together. It made a change.
And we also have a soap opera called Hollyoakes, with to lesbian characters called sarah and lydia, who are still together on the show after i think 5 months. So its not all bad news!
Those are just few,... PEPA and silvia were the worst.... I HATED the fucking ending, Noone ever deserves that. Not to mention making the lesbian... STRAIGHT after her wife's death with a creep.

I watched the whole show today and while the Olivia stuff is incredibly depressing, I am getting immune to it at this point. I have to say that the show is so much more watchable when Frank isn't on. The character wrecks any scene he is in. I actually like most of the other characters and realize that I avoid most of them due to Frank contamination. On a shallow note, Shayne is so pretty. If he was the father of Nat's baby, I would not mind. Perfect sperm donor material. Frank worst ever.
Believe me, Nat pregnant is the last thing I want. I am just looking at some of the male eye candy around and can't believe the lesbians get stuck with Frank's horrible sperm. Besides being the most unattractive guy in SF, he has the worst personality. Shayne is hot and an actual GOOD guy who would give Nat and Liv space. The only way I will be happy is if Frank is dead at the end of the show. He has no self awareness and no pride. He will be hovering around that farmhouse all the time.

I never saw Olivia as a "bitch", Cincy. She was always just lost and looking for love & acceptance. Nat was the only one who ever loved her unconditionally. That's why this latest "betrayal" is so painful to watch. Nat "chose" her & when trouble came cast her aside like everyone else. St. Nat is acting no different from everyone else. The writers are destroying the only true love story Olivia ever had. It'll take a miracle for them to get together & be happy now. That's unfair to all of us.

"I want to believe, I really do". OB, we all want to believe and in the beginning the writers made us believe that their love was true. Somewhere in the middle they lost their direction and now I'm not sure they know what to do.
A happy and hopeful ending is what all of us who have devoted our time, energy, and support for this s/l is what we deserve. As I've said countless times in the last few weeks, the only constant now is the great actresses who have done their best to make this mess work!

Their fandom rivals Otalia's, so I don't know what the producer/writers are thinking there. Again, how hard is it to wrap up this show with happy couples and fans? Killing babies to wrap up the show? Possible SPOILER alert....Well, besides Philip, Dr. Rick is going to kick the bucket, along with baby Henry. There may be more. I am scared for Emma. The writers have a thing for killing kids apparently. Nothing about killing off Frank or Rafe, of course. Rumor is that the executive producer has taken over the writing room and is intent on doing things her way, which is apparently doom and gloom. She is most likely to blame for lack of Otalia kissage as well.

cscgirl13, I am completely baffled on why the producer and/or writers are intent on ending the show with rumored death and destruction. The viewer numbers are embarrassing and I am sure more people will tune out as the show gets more depressing. It would appear that we should just be happy if Liv and Nat are alive at the end. I guess that would be "hopeful". I am pissed enough at how the Otalia storyline is going & can only imagine how upset long time viewers will be at what is rumored to come.

I hope there is an Otalia happy ending, but a true happy ending would occur only if Frank is dead, sent to prison for life, or otherwise kept from simpering after Natalia and his unfortunate genetic offspring. Then we will still be stuck with Rafe. Sucky. There are rumors that there will be a very happy ending with a possible wedding, but this is what I would say to keep people watching, if I were in charge.The current theme of GL seems to be "life sucks and then u die,"so I am pessimistic.

Olivia has been through so much, and now her daughter Ava's father is dead. We know Phillip (Emma's dad)doesn't have long to live either. Was it 3 months the doctor's gave him? I know some of u don't watch all of GL, but if u can, watch 7/14 epi when Josh is talking to Reva. It's like he's talking about Otalia. --The writer's did great this week with the subtlties. The Bizzie vows--"I choose you line", when Dinah tells Mallet that the guy upfront thought he was cute, when Reva says that family doesn't have to be related, but it's the people that take care of u when you're sick and so much more. It all goes back to Otalia. Great writing!

She may not say it much but she shows it with everything she does and says to Emma - she treats her with respect. That is pretty rare and sets such a great example.

Flashback to Livi's SF trip after the spa. Dimples couldn't go 2 days without telling Livi how hard it was being home without her--and their commitment to each other wasn't even as solid at that point--and Livi has to go 4 weeks without even knowing WHERE nat IS, much less a single word from her. I could (and desperately wish) for the death of Frank, but perhaps the writers with their bizarro love for Frank, want to make him be the *gag* great father figure to these kids, cuz we know the two women can't raise kids on their own. It is nice the guy still has fans, but I feel the character adds nothing to the show. He is still moping about a women he dated for two weeks who never said "I love you" to him. If I were a fan of his, I would be mad at the writers for making him so pathetic & unlikable. Also, give the poor actor a better wardrobe w/ better fitting suits and a decent haircut.

After Josh tells Olivia about Jeffrey, her first thought is of Ava of course - natural. But then she asks about Reva - very sincerely, and if you don't know the history b/w Olivia and Reva, you may not realize the meaning behind this spontaneous expression of compassion. They were mortal enemies- Reva at times was really evil to O [although our O got her licks in to at times]. But Reva stepped up a bit when O was dying, and now a changed O has nothing but compassion for Reva. Touching....

About Frank, it looks like his daughter is a sociopathic murderer and possibly on the way to becoming a serial killer. I know we always shouldn't blame the parent for the kid, but let's blame Frank for his psycho daughter, please. This will be great evidence to present in the inevitable court drama when Liv gets custody of his kid. Also, need to mark down that he gives his diabetic mentee alcohol. Ok, on the radio the other day, they were talking about how pregnant women have the highest sex drive out of anyone. Of course my thoughts quickly turned to Natalia and Olivia. Dare we hope? I am sure the writers thought that a pregnant women would be a great way to avoid sex, but in real life, Nat would be on Liv like a fat kid on cake. I don't give the writers any credit to see this though and think they view this as a great way to de-sex Natalia.

It is so sad the way the lesbian s/l are ending lately and its not always the writers fault, sometimes the actresses leaves the show for some reason. Not that Im against that, it's just business. But that is why I love my CC more b/cuz even though she cant tell the writers what to do, I believe she can at some point remind them to give us a happy Otalia ending. CC really invests in her fans, she listens to her crowd and I love her for that.

Wouldn't it be great if Emma was the one who told Natalia how much Olivia has missed her? She has no ulterior motive, apart from seeing her two mommies happy. She isn't one of the judgemental people - others should see the world through her eyes - love is love, no matter who it is.
Look at how she loves her Dad, and I'm sure she knows the bad thing that he did. How she loves Rafe, even though he was in prison for shooting Jeffery. That kid is just the best kid anyone could have.

As much as I love Otalia, there is no comparing them to Pepsi. At least Pepsi was allowed to love one another, even it was for a short time. All these two seem to do is deal with road blocks. It's so old. True Silvia died and yes it was tragic. But don't blame the writers for Mariann's decision. I'd rather have someone 100% there or 100% not. I have about 0 faith in writers and entertainers any more. Just when it seems to be going somewhere...2009 is turning out to be a said year for us.

Good news, I did hear that both Fatima and Patricia (Maca y Esther) will be on next season. What I don't know is the state in which Esther will be in. You can't just fall out a window and walk away.
But sadly, I heard Claudia (Carla) will be leaving in September. Now I can't verify that's true but I've seen it a few times. Very sad as we didn't even get a chance for Stella and Carla to take of. Instead we get the typical gay girl crushing on straight woman. I give up!

Actually, we had a show in the UK called Sugar Rush, in which the main character came out as gay in the 1st season, and the finale of season 2 was them realising that they were meant to be together, and the show finished with them moving in together. It made a change.
And we also have a soap opera called Hollyoakes, with to lesbian characters called sarah and lydia, who are still together on the show after i think 5 months. So its not all bad news!

I just think I have PTSP over it. That show has suspense and drama dialed. They are so good at what they do. We are just pawns. Whoever produces it is genius, they go from comedy to drama without effort. Great acting doesn't hurt either. Gonna miss Pepsi, they were really great together. But yeah brutal death scene. Totally agree....producers/writers of that show are absolute geniuses..depiste the horrific tragedy, the episode itself was simply EPIC..one of the best I've seen on tv for a long time, and the show all in all is fantastic..as u say, the transitions from the comedy to action to raw human emotion: simply brilliant!! and the acting is top notch!! gonna miss pepsi too, like crazy. still not sure if I'm watching next season though w/so many faves gone (i think sara leaves) and I don't like aitor.

JL was back to filming on July 6th, so I'm guessing she'll be on screen either the last week of July or first week of August. Hopefully not longer than that.

This episode is just too much. Liv screaming at Emma but when Liv grabbed that pic and started to cry I felt like someone had punched me in the gut!! I don't like sad Liv. I'm glad she has Shayne & Dinah to be there w/her. What's up w/Marina and her "Tang" tan and oily hair was she running late to the set & they oversprayed her?! Love how Liv talks to her girls but hate seeing Liv cry. Upside I hope Ava slaps the shyt out of Rafe when she gets back to Springfield!!

Why is a pregnancy perceived as an obstacle to love making?
If they have their heroines shopping for sex toys on this show, I really don't doubt that they 're willing to go the extra mile and explore the sexuality during pregnancy topic.
This crew is very down with the female sexuality vibe.
I just hope they are going to explore the female/female sexuality issue,too.;-)
But CBS probably doesn't want any of their homophobic cronies to blow an artery.

I watched the whole show today and while the Olivia stuff is incredibly depressing, I am getting immune to it at this point. I have to say that the show is so much more watchable when Frank isn't on. The character wrecks any scene he is in. I actually like most of the other characters and realize that I avoid most of them due to Frank contamination. On a shallow note, Shayne is so pretty. If he was the father of Nat's baby, I would not mind. Perfect sperm donor material. Frank worst ever.

Believe me, Nat pregnant is the last thing I want. I am just looking at some of the male eye candy around and can't believe the lesbians get stuck with Frank's horrible sperm. Besides being the most unattractive guy in SF, he has the worst personality. Shayne is hot and an actual GOOD guy who would give Nat and Liv space. The only way I will be happy is if Frank is dead at the end of the show. He has no self awareness and no pride. He will be hovering around that farmhouse all the time.

Ugh, I HATE seeing Liv so depressed! It's funny cause I know she used to be a bitch and we could say karma BUT she's grown so much as a person. Love does that! Now if Natalia doesn't win her heart back, look out Springfield! The bitch will most likely be back ;)

I never saw Olivia as a "bitch", Cincy. She was always just lost and looking for love & acceptance. Nat was the only one who ever loved her unconditionally. That's why this latest "betrayal" is so painful to watch. Nat "chose" her & when trouble came cast her aside like everyone else. St. Nat is acting no different from everyone else. The writers are destroying the only true love story Olivia ever had. It'll take a miracle for them to get together & be happy now. That's unfair to all of us.

Yea Shayne & Olivia were really close when she was married to his dad/Josh. They have always had a really great relationship! I really like Shayne and I love anyone who is cool w/Olivia!

"I want to believe, I really do". OB, we all want to believe and in the beginning the writers made us believe that their love was true. Somewhere in the middle they lost their direction and now I'm not sure they know what to do.
A happy and hopeful ending is what all of us who have devoted our time, energy, and support for this s/l is what we deserve. As I've said countless times in the last few weeks, the only constant now is the great actresses who have done their best to make this mess work!
