  • It wasn't George Bush's war, congress has to vote on that issue which they did. And the majority was in favor of sending the troops to Iraq. Although Colon Powell may have presented false information when stating that there in "nucular" weapons in Iraq.

  • @joeybwalsh

Not sure I buy into that theory! Hes ure played a big part in bringing 'Tony' Blair onboard and the pair of them lied to the world!

  • its a beautiful song and video(L)

  • GOD BLESS THE IRAQI PEOPLE

  • Obama: Lets get our troops out of iraq and afghanistan! GO PEACE!

    *recieves Nobel Peace Prize*

Obama: Sweet Lets go to War with Libya and keep our troops where they are xD

  • Fucking Masons...

  • wow lets care about gay ass rich people. man all you low class and high class are all the same. you want to be better than everyone well i got something to say. take your money bury it in the ground cuz when you die it aint going with you.

  • US army kill uncount number of women and children ,violate human right ,this show that US’s democracy is just to fool others!

  • @303750828 strong men lead, weak men obey, or woman complains, thats all the the world is about brother

  • SAD :'(

  • Countries the US has invaded without provocation: Barbary States, Mexico, Confederate States of America, Germany, Philippines, Germany (again), Italy, Korea, Cambodia, Grenada, Panama, Iraq, Iraq II.

But apparently 2003 was the first time. Glad you got your facts straight.

  • @sublimeade

Bush 'justified' the two invasions because they were protecting the oil supply to the US. It was just a shame he didn't do any regional and cultural research before the blitz. All leaders should have to read history before taking office. peace..

  • @Judep22 That wasn't the ONLY justification, there were several....including WMD (which some were found), plus several (17) violations of the Cease Fire agreement with the UN. Some of those violations included the shooting down of US helicopters in the no fly zone! How about the link between Oklahoma city bombing with Iraq? The attempted assassination of a former President? (just happened to be his Dad). Please report everything, not just Populist hit points!

  • @RecceMan90

NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION WERE EVER FOUND. They are myths put about by Blair and Bush to justify their illegal actions. Oklahoma has no link

and the attempted assassination of Bush senior was retaliation for HIS invasion

of Iraq not too many years earlier. Bush junior was sent in by Daddy to save face, finish the job and get some oil!

  • @Judep22 DO YOU HONESTLY THINK IF THEY DID FIND WEAPONS THAT THEY WOULD TELL US LMFAO SHIT THE CIA ALLREADY NEW THAT THERE WAS WAY TO MANY FOLLOWERS FOR THE USA TO EVER WIN IN VIETNAM BUT YET THEY LET 60 THOUSAND PLUS MEN DIE AND THEY NEW ALL ALONG IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO WIN OVER THERE SO KNOWING THAT DO YOU STILL THINK THAT WEAPONS ARE THE ONLY BULLSHIT LIE THAT THEY HAVE TOLD YOU OH WELL HOW ABOUT WHEN ME AND MY FRIENDS WERE IN KOREA BACK IN 1997 WE WERE CLOSE TO ANOTHER KOREAN WAR DID YOU KNOW

  • @thebearjewkiller1976

No - I believe that politician's egos are the reason good men die. I also believe that the more people know what is going on - and YouTube and Facebook are the main way to know - then the more this crap will cease to happen. If the internet had been bigger in the time of Korea then things might have been a whole lot different.

  • @sublimeade Confederate states of america did have provocation what the fuck are you talking about. Slavery was terrible and you cant just decide to seperate like that we would be fucked right now if they did.

  • CIA operations in many countries in many years, but particularly Viet Nam, Guatemala, & Iran, all in the same year of 1954, effected usurping 'regime change'. No provocation is an excuse for puppet government.

Torture outside of black ops was the 1st by the US as far as I know.

Special powers granted to a head of state was new AFAIK, preceded by Hitler after the Reichstag fire, 1933.

Lies to the world on numerous occasions? The only thing new about those is the date on which they are spoken.

  • @VvAnarchangelvV

Thank God for the internet and people prepared to take a stand.

wiki leaks are doing a great job.

  • thats not fair you can't blame the war on George W. Bush we went to war because terrorists attacked 4 planes and used three of them to fly into large buildings and kill thousands so if you can sit there and blame this war on George Bush you can go fuck your self because i doubt you can sit there and look into a 911 victims eyes and tell them that we don't are what happened to there loved ones and that it isn't a big deal not to seek revenge on the terrorist that attacked America next time think

  • @cj34261

I see the Bush propaganda machine worked on you!

911 was horrendous but nothing to do with Iraq. Iraq was purely oil

and points for daddy Bush. Look who bought the oil contracts.

  • @Judep22 o so when clinton dropped bombs on iraq it was ok? where is the logic?

  • @SNaRF66666666

Oil was first discovered in Iran, and by 1911 a British concern, the Anglo-Persian Oil Company (APOC), was producing oil in Iran. The British found oil in Iraq after World War I. World War II delayed development.Until the 1970s, foreign companies owned and managed the gulf oil industry. In most cases, European- and United States-based concerns formed subsidiaries to work in specific countries, and these subsidiaries paid fees to the local rulers,

IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT OIL!

  • @Judep22 thats has nothing to do with my comment.....also oil is not for the usa its more for a country we owe debt to......

Lastly voting for obama is a new face same policies........cool story.

  • @SNaRF66666666

On October 31, 1998 US President Bill Clinton had signed into law H.R. 4655, the Iraq Liberation Act. The new Act appropriated funds for Iraqi opposition groups in the hope of removing Saddam Hussein from power and replacing his regime with a democracy. This was another way to bring about regime change which would hopefully get a better deal on iraq's oil for the USA. It became one of the roots of the 2003 invasion of Iraq when Saddam Hussein was removed from power.

  • @Judep22 FINALLY SOMEONE WHO IS BEING ACCURATE AND HONEST MAKES ME WONDER IF YOU WERE IN THE MILITARY DID YOU HAVE Q CLEARENCE LEVEL??? BY THE WAY WE SHOULD ALSO TELL THESE PEOPLE HOW THE CLINTONS LEFT US WITH A CLINTON RECESSION AND BEFORE THAT THEY ABUSED THERE AUTHORITY WHEN SLAUGHTERING ALL THOSE WOMAN AND CHILDREN IN WACO TEXAS THEY HAD NO RIGHT HAVEING BLACK HAWK HELO CHOPPERS AND THAT DAMN TANK WITCH MADE THAT PLACE FLAMMABLE THREW FILLING IT FULL OF TEAR GAS THEY KNOW WHAT THEY DID

  • why is it that under a republican or democrat president, a disaster happens under each. bush...you got 9/11 in the north......obama...gulf oil disaster in the south..hmm strange isn't it?

  • @carnut476

There will always be disasters - however, this current oil spillage can almost be seen as retribution! You wanted the oil - well you've got it now!!

It is a shame that so much damage is being done to the ecology though - and will take years to clean up. As usual the little guy will pay the price/

  • LOL I wonder what these Obama minion morons think today! Expanded wars 2 years later? Far more fraud and corruption? Well, you bought him, you own him he's yours!

  • @davids11131113

Has nothing to do with Bush's murderous assault on Iraq purely for oil - corporate greed.

  • @Judep22 Oh you werent aware of the fact Obama is #1 recipient of BP money over the last 5 years? Why 5 years? Did you know 17 offshore oil rigs have been expempted from inspections SINCE the oil spill? And explain how Obama is not an oil whore? Try!

  • @davids11131113

Tell me more as I missed that - please explain

  • to bad Obama is the new Bush

  • Opinion Research Business poll conducted August 1219, 2007 estimated 1,033,000 violent deaths due to the Iraq War. The range given was 946,000 to 1,120,000 deaths. A nationally representative sample of approximately 2000 Iraqi adults answered whether any members of their household (living under their roof) were killed due to the Iraq War. 22% of the respondents had lost one or more household members. ORB reported that "48% died from a gunshot wound, 20% from the impact of a car bomb...

  • Dudes stop trying to make it all like some movie plot with deep plot lines. America did it to snub terrorists for the next 25 yrs.

That simple. You blow up America via 911 expect a war. If reversed the Taliban would kill all of us so get real.

  • @stevenapoleon

Well i don't think the child that recieved a bomb on his hous had something to do with 9/11 and so is it for 90% on the people who died because of this war.

    (estimated to 900'000)

Your terrorists doesn't hid in schools or hospitals the US bomb did destroyed...

And the terrorists are a minority of islamist extremists... (1-2% of all islamists) so stop blaming a whol religion because of 1% of assholes.

  • @stevenapoleon what? Firstly Iraq had nothing to do with 911. Or 119 if you get your date round the right way.

Secondly the Taliban are in Afghanistan. This video is about Iraq.

So basically what you are saying is everytime someone does something in America you are going to murder some random civilians? Great logic.

Lucky us Brits didn't bomb Washington every time a US funded IRA terrorist bomb blew up in London.

  • @stevenapoleon

Wrong - it is and always was about oil. Check out who has bout the oil contracts.

  • @Judep22 Then why is oil so expensive? We could essentially control ALL of the middle east if we truly wanted it!

  • @RecceMan90

Oil is ever more expensive because in the global recession traders are using it as a money making commodity. Oil is getting scarer but more nations now need it in huge quantities. Jackpot!

Oil is the prize everybody wants and needs so it will get ever more expensive.

99% of transport needs it and without transport you have no commerce - and without commerce you have no industry and your country is poor - so the guys who own the oil rights control the wealth of nations.

  • The USA is nothing but a proxy war machine for Israel.

  • if you wanted to end the war, you all should have voted ron paul. too bad everyone kept chanting "obama," who is a welfare-oriented george bush in different skin.

  • Well - they are auctioning off the oil fields now and the motives are laid bare.

The oil companies from all over the world are fighting for the rights and telling the world exactly why they are there - for the biggest oil reserves!

  • dont mess with afganistan they go blow you up american

  • It was about peak oil.

  • Hey Judep

Some day you'll grow up and understand it all.

There will never be peace..that's just the nature of man...sorry but we live on planet earth.

  • I understand it but cannot condone it. Man's greed is insatiable - BP have just signed the lease on the first oil fielld and the others are due to be signed shortly.

IT WAS ALL ABOUT OIL - the deaths are irrelevant???!!

  • I apologize if people believe that I have not answered any posts but my comments are being filtered by youtube and many of my posts do not show up for this reason

  • how do you feel now?

  • I feel angry that all the death & needless destruction of US and British Soldiers and countless Iraqi's seems to be allowed to slip into the unconscious.

Bush has been allowed to slip into oblivion - Blair is trying desperately to become president of the EU (God help us all - Blair - the unelected King of europe!) & Brown had bankrupt The UK (Bush bankrupted the USA)

It was and is still for oil, and greed. Afghanistan is still for oil but nowone talks about that. The war on terror is a con.

  • Beautiful video, I cryed when I read out loud Charles Sumner's quote...

  • oo many people chasing too few resources.. It is even sadder when you consider that the whole thing is about oil - even afghanistan

  • It's even sadder when the whole thing is about the oligarchs protecting their profits and influence by destroying competition. Take the crops in poor countries used for biofuels, all so that Europe can buy less oil from Russia, and these biofuel schemes along side various management deals, with the WTO represent green fascism, and they're responsible for the food crisis which will hit the whole world, then Prince Philip will have an orgasm while millions of people die.

  • This would be awesome. All US troops withdraw from South Korea, Iraq and Afghanistan. The US stops paying 23% of the UN's operating costs (bribes) each year. They are ordered OUT of the US. US declares its sovereignty and allies with Canada and Mexico as its closest allies. No more bribes or meddling in foreign affairs. We protect and preserve our freedoms RIGHT HERE AT home. To hell with the Pope, UN, Israel and Queen of UK. They did not make our democracy. WE DID.

  • AND FUCK BUSH. AND MCCORPSE.

  • all i care is bout gas prices dropping will they drop?

  • yeah Obama's doing fine it's been six months we are still in Iraq oh and if he pulls that out of Iraq he sends them to Afganistan 30,000 troops where your peace and change now? You fell for obama thinking change would happen. DUMBASSES

  • CRAP - Bush signed a deal to keep the troops there for at least another 3 years to make sure the oil is secure! That tied Obama's hands.

Again - Afganistanis about oil - laying a pipeline from the Caspian sea which nobody seems to mention - which requires a stable Afganistan political system before pipeline laying can begin. Bush once again....

  • You didnt think obama was going to pull them out immediatly like he said in the election did you? hell he is staying bush's course. Same general same fucking plan for IRaq... LMAO

  • how could obamas hands be tied...he can do ANYTHING cant he?

  • A contract was signed before he came into office by Bush and the Iraqui Government to allow the troops to stay another 3 years (thus allowing them to protect the future oil fields and the present)

  • god, this song and video's awesome by the way. u know what is truly powerful? a MOTHERFUCKING compliment is powerful! the idea that i might be useful is powerful! ideas are powerful! people only hold power temporarily. the ideas behind them are what hold the attraction. why does tom cruise get free houses, vacations, cars, machines, technology, ideas? all shared for free? because people see that he understands true power and want to use him as a tool. :)

  • Nice video, but not nearly accurate. We entered a lot of sovereign countries without provication or threat.

The gulf of Tonkin was our reason for escalating Vietnamn war and doing the draft and that was a staged lie. The war in Vietnamn and the war in Iraq are just about making money. They are a raquett for war profiteering. Obama is letting the wars go on forever. He's been building more permanent bases in Iraq from the start. haha!

9/11 was an inside job! :)

  • No - Bush signed deals with oil companies allowing him to extend the time for USA soldiers to stay. The whole bloody thing was about oil in the first place.

Obama's hands are tied by contracts.

There is an official inquiry into Britains's part in Bush's war about to start but - Brown is making sure that it is held in secret so it doesn't embarrass him or Blair. May they both rot in hell. Blair because he went into an illegal war and Brown because wouldn't pay for troops basic equipment.

  • We can march right out of there. The contracts are an excuse just like Pelosi making excuses from 07 to 09. They have no intention of ending these wars. 92 billion dollar war funding bill back in May signed by Obama. If Obama and Pelosi continue to fund it, then it's no longer Bush's war it's now Obama's. Obama continues an illegal war.

  • with obama now in office he has already passed spending done by all presidents and the country is still in shambles.

no thanx to those who elected the white nigger community organizer who couldn't even fix Chicagos communities...

  • We're still there. Not arguing but where does the 500K Iraqis killed come from? I've seen numbers that were less so I'm just curious

  • There is dispute about the number of people who have died in Iraq. One of the main sources used by the media is Iraq Body Count, whose website is

    IraqBodyCount dot netnet.

They had the number of deaths from March 2003 to January 2009 of around 90,000. However they rely almost entirely on deaths reported in the media, and they themselves admit that their figures are likely to be a great underestimate.

  • there are a lot of soldiers committing suicide too. record numbers. many are becoming seriously depressed and suffering from post traumatic stress.

  • Terrible but true. Men of REAL courage pay for vain men's mistakes.

I hope the whole Bush family go to hell.

  • WHAT??? dude are you fucking crazy? why would you hope some men who brought so much joy to the world would go to hell? hahahaha! dude, if bush never existed i would be a fucking stupid idiot. i wouldn't understand the world as much as i do. i wouldn't understand stupidity and hate and fucking humor and power as much as i do. i would be less powerful. i would be less strong. dude, i think you're backwards and maybe u might want to subscribe me and check my vids! :)

  • do u actually think that bush was powerful? don't u see how he was only a magician using other powerful ideas to serve his own? don't u see how we are all just reeds in the wind and that it was only his understanding of this that made him powerful? why must u fear and hate your enemies? TRUE POWER COMES FROM BEING ABLE TO UNDERSTAND AND EMBRACING AND LOVING YOUR ENEMIES! dude, u'd better re-read the bible if u want to truly be powerful. :)

learn about subliminal learning and self hypnotis

  • i've laughed more at bush than i ever did at carrot top or even david chapelle or bill hicks my favorite comedians man. dude, i would be fucking sad as fuck if he never existed. suffering is an illusion. pain is a trick. slavery is a trick. no one can force u to be a slave or to suffer. u can only force yourself! hahahahaha! humor is real! and to me bush if funny as fuck! i fight bush's bad ideas every day! check my vids! learn to be powerful! learn to be free if u want to be free!

  • the UN btw

  • please say to barack obampa to give a paper to immigrant . i am a senegalese man and my father is in new york. i have seen him one time in my life it was in 2006 so i am born in 1990 because he has not a paper.

  • When you and your party 'control' a country for 10 years then it is YOUr financial advisors who ADVISE you on the state of the country.

For years the USA has allowed the scale of it's debts to escalate almost to the point where financing the debt was impossible. Then, the unthinkable happened - the crash caused by lax official oversight by the guys at the top - the US equivilant of the FSA omiited to do their job - blinded by greed and ignorance and the Bush financial mismangement exploded!

  • how did the "Amercican President" cause the financial situation?

some would say it was the the widespread investment in now "toxic asset" loans put forth by fannie and freddie...

but you blame the president bush

    .

    please explain

  • Please research, find out and let it be widely known that,

political parties and governments are just puppets of the real masters.

  • fuck u bush

  • having a new preisdent doesnt change anything... we are still bein controlled and manipulated behind the scenes...

  • Have gov control, look at wallstreet, they ran wild for a long time, if gov does not step in who will? The government is us, not a for profit corporation. You don't think banks and healthcare are phucked up? You get rich by ripping off the public, (Haliburton). This country has more to fear from republicans then from the taliban or Al-Qaeda.

  • his entire cabinet is ex wall street!!! they are all CFR !!!

think for yourself...do some research on your own!!!!

dont repeat what you've heard until you prove it to yourself...

  • If Obama didn't have to clean up the worst financial mess since the 1920's Wall Street Crash caused by the most hated Amercican President EVER, not just in the USA but throughout the entire world - then you might be able to get away with your racist crap.

You are all just using Obama as the fall guy for the crap your people have done. Wake up.

"Spytheweb You are really ignorant and liberally blind. Obama is trying to have the government control everything; ie. the banks, health care, how and who rasies our children, etc. He wants everybody to be working for the government - AND NOBODY GETS RICH WORKING FOR THE GOVERNMENT. Obama wants everybod dependent on the government and poor". Debt is the new slavery, New masters don't have to worry about feeding or housing you.

  • Barack Obama может поцеловать мою белую задницу, к черту со всеми Вами дерьмо!

  • Now that is just showing off! Translate underneath at least!

  • 'Barack Obama can kiss my white ass, to hell with all your crap!'

Vitomous - have the courage to write it in english!

  • Barack Obama может поцеловать мою белую задницу, к черту со всеми Вами дерьмо!

    You are in the merde!

Your party screwed the whole country and then the world. Screw you!

  • When this country falls it won't be from any terrorists outside the country, it will be from republicans and wallstreet and bank terrorists. They will rob you of everything you ever worked for and give you nothing in return. This is the new world order. Republicans want a 2 class America, rich and the working poor.

  • Sounds like the UK Gov!

Looks as though devaluation is imminent for both countries. The UK is printing money as we speak.

Hey - we are just the plebs.

The rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting old. The more it changes the more it stays the same.

  • Spytheweb You are really ignorant and liberally blind. • Yo mwowner,

    We are all paying attention.

I think even the mega rich illuminati and the bankers have scared themselves silly this time.

Too much globalisation and too little regulation. The IMF is forecast to run out of money in 6 months. I expect devaluation will follow soon. The UK is already starting to print money!

  • Whats the matter Jedep22 didn't approve of my statements yesterday? Face the facts your party is screwings us (as in America) every chance they get. Worse of it is the get away with.

  • Sorry vitomous and ccgraphics - too busy this week to dilly dally. Got family to sort out.

What I will say is that this financial thing is now so bad that Europe is panicking. If one European country defaults on their debt it will bring the rest down.

You should all be worried about the immediate future.

The sub prime mortgages failed because of too much lending brought about by lack of bank regulation. Homeowners don't put themselves through the misery of losing their homes for fun.

  • Well, I got my e-mail. And you need an education courtsey. Because the reason we are heading into depression is because of Bill Clinton. Obama just is blaming Bush for three reasons; One, Obama is democrat he knows damn well who did this and goes after the last Republican. Secondly he wants to be the favorite remain "the Messiah"(as called by Rush Limbaugh). Thirdly, he wants to continue having his face stamped on plates and coins.

  • Rubbish - it is purely down to the mis-management of the economy by the US regulators which have been 'overseen' by Bush for years.

The years of insane spending - totally out of control - plus the massive (& ongoing) Iraq/Afghanistan war spending - Billions wasted have brought the US to it's knees.

Obama is not the messiah but people can see that Bush & the Republican policies and mismanagement have destroyed the economy & change is totally necessary.

You don't vote for more of the same

  • Judep22 You need to educate yourself a little more.

Bush, McCain and Hagel fought for restrictions on sub-prime lenders and loans. It was the Democrats in Congress & Senate (Christopher Dodd and Barney Frank, in particular) who fought for and praised these lenders. Christopher Dodd led the filibuster to stop the regulations Bush was fighting for.

  • Well I'm glad we are on the same page.

  • Republicans want war, but don't want to fight them. Bush was a big Vietnam war supporter but when it came his chance to fight he flew over the waiting list to get into the NG. Cheney got 5 military deferments. These guys don't mind sending you or your kids to fight in their war. Bush did nothing for the average American. He sides with big business, the drug bill, bankruptcy bill, spying on Americans, Iraq war, stem cell research, torture, no healthcare, no border security. The republican's hero.

  • We don't want war you shit! We want controll because fucking raghead Taliban are every where. We need control.

  • You look at those pictures! Look at them! We did not do the crimes against the people you see. The motto was and is "Kill the fucking Rag Heads"

  • Bush kicked complete ass! You hippie piss-ants don't know shit! Republicans Rule. (Scotland prevales)

  • It's a shame you republicans didn't get an education courtesy of Bush -though he didn't get much of one either!!

HE is the reason why you are in a depression! Read up on the economics of your country and you will see that he spent billions more (& 'lost $120 BILLION in defense (the Pentagon!'

You have had morons running your economy for years and spending more than the US can afford to repay - apparently the plan now is devaluation!

Any change is better than you idiots running the country!

  • "Change" Hah! My ass aint no damned changed change comin from Bama. We all goin into a depression and he's given out millions of my damn tax dollars to to some third world shity ass-countries for some abortion shit. Thats fucking murder! Also I would like to add our fucking economy sucks ass. Pluss the government is sending the rest of our taxes to the fucking Jap veterans from WW2. Democrats can all kiss Micheal Jackson's ass.

That is all. thank you, vitomous.

  • Comment removed

  • You are still in your world of make-believe. The president only makes suggestions to help guide the economy, but it's the Congress and Senate who control it. During his first term, our economy was strong, gas was at $2.30/gallon and unemployment was at 4.5%. During his first term, the Republicans were in control of the House. In 2006, the Democrats took control. That's when unemployment jumped to over 7%, our economy went down the gutter and gas reached over $4//gallon.

  • I am beginning to think that you simply do not or will not accept that you can actually be wrong. Whatever you believe, without the rest of America believing it too, it doesn't matter.

The USA has LOST CONFIDENCE IN THE REPUBLICANS - PERIOD!!!

Why don't you start a site on behalf of the republicans and get them some support, because you will not find it here.

When confidence is shot and you stop believing, the - if you are in a hole - STOP DIGGING!

    PEACE

  • Judep22 I am not stating what I believe. I am stating facts about what went on during the Bush administration - the good, the bad and the ugly. I have stated historic facts that Obama is following and have failed. When people don't learn their history, they repeat the mistakes of the past. That's exactly what is happening in our country.

  • Judep22 You can claim what you believe, what you think and what you hope for, but it still won't escape the fact that Obama is going to increase the dept of America ten fold and it will either completely ruin America to the point that we are not working for America but for other countries - the ones that lend us money, or he is not doing a thing to keep America safe, doing more for our enemies and will help eliminate our country completely.

  • But you digress -

None of the above or below excuses the invasion of a sovereign nation on a whim.

Non of what you say excuses the murders, the pain & the suffering which directly contributed to the current financial & political situation.

Whatever happens in the near future - if money is not spent then the weakest will go to the wall. Many who did not put themselves in the firing line politically or financially are paying the price for 10 years of incompetence from Bush & the Republicans.

  • There were at least 3 different terrorist training camps in Iraq before we went into Iraq. The most famous of these was Salman Pak, about 15 miles southeast of Baghdad. The camp featured a passenger jet on which terrorists sharpened their air piracy skills. A satellite photo taken of the camp showed an urban assault training site, a three-car train for railway-attack instruction, and a commercial airliner sitting all by itself in the middle of the desert.

  • When we FIRST went into Afghanistan, we wounded Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, who was running an al-Qaeda training camp in Afghanistan. He went to Baghdad, Iraq from medical treatment and a place to hide. Once back on foot, he started the Ansar al-Islam terrorist training camp in Iraq. Zarqawi is behind the 10-28-02 assassination of Lawrence Foley, a U.S. diplomat in Amman, Jordan.

  • Hussein aided & abetted terrorists (ie, Abu Abbas, Abu Nidal, Abdul Rahman Yasin, Abu Musab al Zarqawi) and Middle Eastern terrorist groups (ie. Abu Nidal Organization, Alsar al-Islam, Arab Liberation Front, Hamas (friends of Obama), Kurdistan Workers Party [PKK], Mujahedin-e-Khalq [MEK], Abu Sayyaf, and Palestine Liberation Front).

  • Why did we go into Iraq? For more than 20 years, Saddam Hussein's regime killed, tortured, raped and terrorized the Iraqi people and his neighbors. Hundreds of thousands of people died as a result of his actions - the vast majority of them Muslims. Hussein ignored 17 UN resolutions, including Resolution 1441;

  • Both Bush and McCain warned the House of the dangers of those sub-prime loans, but their warnings were ingnored. There used to be several videos showing the Democrats in Congress praising the sub-prime loans and fighting the Republicans who were trying to put restricitions on these lenders - but the videos all have been removed (surprise, surprise - the Democrats always cover up their tracks.)

  • I believe we have some of the same points of view. Are you Rupublican?

  • vitomous Yes I am. I'm not a brain-dead zombie.

You are correct. We don't want war. We (Republicans and TRUE Americans) aren't going to sit back while these Islamic radicals continue to attack our country. That's what people like Carter and Clinton do.

  • Judep22 For some reason, you don't get it: BUSH did not enforce, praise, or empower these sub-prime lenders. That was the action of the Democrats in Congress and Senate (including Barrack Obama).

  • Jude22

    Leaders from other countries are already showing their disapproval of Obama; Obama's approval rating of over 80% has dropped almost 30% in 2 weeks; Obama continues to choose people for his cabinet who do not pay their taxes;

  • Judep22 During the campaign, Joe Biden said it was "patriotic to pay your taxes". Obama is not choosing people for his cabinet who are "patriotic". Tom Daschle, Timothy Geithner, and Nancy Killefer are all tax cheats. Obama's choice for Attorney General was Eric Holder, who pardoned Marc Rich who stoled hundreds of millions from the American Taxpayers. Holder also pardoned 12 members of the terror group FALN, who had 120 bombings targeted at America.

  • Bush tried 17 times alone to put restrictions on sub-prime lenders in 2008 alone. In 2006, John McCain warned Congress & Senate of the dangers sub-prime loans could damage our economy. The Democrats in Congress and Senate did not take McCain's warning serious and completely ignored Bush's pleas for restrictions on reform of the sub-prime loans.

  • Democrats and groups associated with them leaned on banks and even sued to get them to make bad loans under the Community Reinvestment Act which was a factor in causing the economic crisis. In these lawsuits, Obama not only represented ACORN, he taught them to make a bogus claim of Redlining (denying poor people loans because of their ethnic heritage). They protest and get the local media to raise a big stink.

  • This stink means that the bank faces thousands of people closing their accounts and get local politicians to lobby to stop the bank from doing some future business, expansions and mergers. If the bank goes to court, they will win, but the damage is already done because who is going to launch a big campaign to get the banks reputation back? ACORN filed tons of these lawsuits and ALL of them allege racism.

  • The economic devastation of the old Soviet Union and other communist countries provides a long distance look at what government intervention in free markets inevitably produces. Much closer to home, the credit "meltdown" in the U.S. offers a chilling glimpse of the West's future should big government continue infiltrating so many aspects of life where it has absolutely no business.

  • The story of the U.S. credit crunch was years in the making, but the bottom line is that millions of people, with little or no collateral & little ability to repay, received low interest loans to purchase homes. The artificial demand for housing pushed prices up, allowing those in over their heads to escape by selling their homes. But once demand tailed off, prices began to drop, & the escape hatch slammed shut.

  • Unable to sell their homes, people began defaulting on mortgages, which pushed prices even lower. Losses accumulated to the point where some banks approached the point of insolvency.

  • Geeeeez! Looks like the right wingers all have their undies in a twist now. Their religion, Friedmanism, has failed the world utterly, and they are afraid that the immature punks who fell for jelly-brained Reagan's philospophy that government is the problem will realize that they have been duped by the corporate masters who wanted to usurp government functions. People are waking up to the fact that the war criminal Friedman had it wrong and that FDR had it right.

  • leftysergeant If you would get out of your leftist world & use some common sense, you might be able to figure out why the liberals are ruining America. You & the rest of the leftist loony tunes elected Obama, who was praised by the Taliban today for his plans on pulling out of Guantanamo; they said he was doing the "right thing". Right for them. Hamas praised Obama. Ahmadinejad praised Obama. Castro and Chavez praised Obama. All enemies of America & they praised Obama, just like the liberals.

  • ccgraphics - What is your problem. You do not want to give anyone a chance to change things. You are an angry man - but what is causing your anger?

If the people of America have made their choice then I am sure they know the reasons, both good or bad. 10 years of Bush's world aggression have forced people to look for change.

Peace & negotiation does not mean weakness. People will still fight for their country if they have to. The USA is on it's knees financially & morally. Change now.

  • Judep22 Part 4 of the Obama-Biden Plan is "a rapid aggressive response to our financial crisis, using all the tools we have." In other words, "we are going to try like crazy to spend our way out of this." With his Manufacturing & Green Jobs, Obama plans to create a mix of different funds, staffed by beureaucrats, who will dispense funding at their desire to successful applicants. Great for big government & corporate corruption, but a disaster for the free market.

  • In the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of September 11th, Bush enjoyed the greatest popularity ever recorded for a modern American president.

Only four years later, Bush left office with the longest sustained period of public disapproval ever recorded.

The coup de grace came when General Colin Powell -- a Republican -- announced his endorsement of Obama for president.

What Obama has or hasn't done matters not.

He united the population with hope of something better than bankruptcy & Bush.

  • Judep22 Powell is a moderate Republican. Obama's past does matter. His campaigning for Raila Odinga shows his true colors (no offense intended).

Obama's spending & bail-out plans are going to cost America more than any war in American history & more money than every bank & household in America. Obama is going to do worse than just bankrupt America, he is going to leave America in dept to countries that don't even like us & America will be stuck with the bell for centuries.

  • Judep22 Why don't you do yourself a favor. Read Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals". He was a ultra-left Marxist and the first Chicago Community Oraganizer from the 1930s to the early 70s. When you read his book, it as if you are reading Obama's campaign plans and what he is doing to our country. Obama is using Alinsky's rules to power. You will see how Obama uses promises of hope and attacking the government of the past to gain the faith of his followers-even though he has nothing to offer.

  • Judep22 These homeowners did make a conscious decision to sign a mortgage )with the help of the sub-prime loans Obama supported and praised), and will benefit at the cost of taxpayers who do not own a home (a classic divide-and-conquer strategy). Central planners will need to decide which mortgage lenders are "responsible" and "irresponsible".

Still, not a word about "production" to get our economy going.

  • Judep22 He is saying that to revive the economy, our central economic planners must take "immediate & dramatic action". When he says "revive our economy", he really means create 3.3 to 4 mill. jobs he "says" he will create. In part 3 of the Obama-Biden Plan, it says direct, immediate assistance for homeowners - NOT a bailout for irresponsible mortgage lenders. Obama HELPED AND SUPPORTED those irresponsible loans to keep going.

  • Judep22 He said: "It's not too late to change course but only if we take immediate & dramatic action. Our first job is to put people back to work & get our economy working again. I've taken the extraordinary step of working even before I take office with my economic team & leaders of both parties on an American Recovery & Reinvestment Plan that will call for major investments to revive our economy, create jobs, & lay a solid foundation for future growth."

  • Judep22 Obama's proposal of more stimulus spending is exactly what got us into this mess. His economic plan focuses on "creating jobs", not our economic production. His only production is for alternative energies, but it's the government deciding which technologies to pursue - not the free market. Working for the government is a perfect way to keep control on the American workers.

  • Judep22 You're joking, right? 9 out 10 people who voted for Obama can't name ONE OF HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS. What is causing my anger? In the 1930s, the New Deal measures taken by Franklin Roosevelt put nearly 4 million unemployed workers to work building roads, bridges, dams, schools and other public projects. However, even these measures failed to end the Great Depression. Obama is following the plans of FDR.

  • Judep22 It won't be long before you and the other leftist loons like leftysergeant see what a mistake all of you made. It was today that Obama criticized business profit. OK. If he plans on "redistributing wealth", but criticizes bussinesses working for profit, where does he think the money is going to come from? Obama is following the playbook of FDR which did not bring America out of the depression. More than half of spending on the stimulus package WILL NOT produce jobs.

    Open up your eyes.

  • The world's financial system came closer to absolute collapse than at any time since the 1930s.

This was overseen by Hank Paulson & the Republican party - whose President was the most despised in history.

Do you honestly believe that as their jobs disappear daily, & whole areas face bankruptcy that the American people, having had to cough up trillions of their future earnings just to keep some of the surviving banks alive, but having lost their jobs & homes would vote Republican again?

    PEACE

  • A free market does exactly the opposite; it punishes irresponsible behavior while rewarding that which is productive and responsible. The lesson to be learned from the sub-prime mortgage debacle is not that more government control over financial markets is needed. Rather, government should get out and let free market capitalism work its well documented magic to set things right.

  • According to Obama and many legislators, the answer to the government-created mess is to bail out bankers who made bad decisions, and pay off the debt of irresponsible borrowers on the backs of taxpayers who manage their finances responsibly. In other words, the standard big government credo: reward the bad guys and punish the good.

  • Were any greedy bankers involved? Sure, but they were greedy for the favors and artificial financial incentives dangled by big government and its bureaucratic cronies. They got burned, and deservedly so.

  • The same Democrats, by sheer coincidence, have been recipients of huge campaign contributions by, you guessed it, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. In fact, the number two all-time recipient of Fannie Mae's generosity, in spite of his short senate career, is a fellow named Barack Obama.

  • Democrats like Barney Frank and California Congresswoman Maxine Waters insisted nothing was wrong. They cried "racism" and excoriated independent auditors who, testifying before congressional committees, rang alarm bells loud and clear.

  • Directors of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac engaged in unscrupulous activities to enrich themselves through huge bonuses that often surpassed their already sky-high annual salaries. As far back as 2004, Congressional Republicans were calling for more oversight and tighter control of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

  • The loans were not based on normal eligibility considerations, but driven by a political imperative: artificially increasing home ownership by minorities. Indeed, according to government mandates, even unemployment and welfare checks were considered acceptable collateral for mortgages.

  • The government sponsored (lending) entities (GSEs), Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, were mandated by Congress to make sub-prime loans available to unqualified borrowers.

  • Socialists, collectivists and other big government advocates are trying to scapegoat "greedy bankers" for the situation. In reality, American banks were largely forced to make bad loans by a combination of government regulation and artificially low interest rates set by the U.S. Federal Reserve.

  • Citing problems with financial markets, the U.S. government is attempting to intervene. Congress is currently wrangling over a bailout package that may cost taxpayers hundreds of billions, if not more than a trillion dollars. Government interference in financial markets caused the very problems that, according to those who created the mess, can only be fixed by more government interference.

  • If America fully realized the worst and became a country dedicated to crushing other countries in whatever way necessary to try to be the best, there would be no freedom here for any citizen. This is like a member of a football team who is for some time noted to be the best, then notices a couple of other guys getting notariety, so he starts to try to find ways to underhandedly force them out of football or get them injured. There's no faking. Either you're the best or your not. All is not lost.

  • It was the left loons screaming that Bush is a killer of the innocent , but they supported Obama who supports abortion, partial-birth abortion & full-term abortion; within his first week in office, our troops kill 16 civilians in an attack in Afghanistan. WITHIN HIS FIRST WEEK! The leftist loons screamed Bush spent too much money on the war, but support Obama who's bail-out & spending plans will cost America more than any war in history - including the war in Iraq & the most expensive war, WWII!

  • Eisenhower would call you "stupid." War is a rat hole. Investing in infrastructure produces wealth and opportunity. As for the civilians killed, when did you Repuiblicans start giving a rat's about that? Oh, wait, it was okay when your dirtbag was giving the orders to do it.

Had Shrub been a half-adequate president, we wouldn't have been in Afghanistan to begin with.
