I've just finished playing it and it's pretty good when you get into it......though it's very much a GTA clone. If you don't wanna pay 20 quid for it do what I did and get yourself a used copy from AMAZON for about 6 quid. At that sort of price it's well worth it...
@roms3 Took me about 20 hours so not huge but the playing area is massive. There's plenty of "freeplay targets" too which involve blowing up sniper nests and armoured vehicles etc. which you earn money for. they're not side missions as such and there are literally hundreds of these which gets repetative after a while but if you're the type of player who likes to go for 100% you could be playing for weeks! As for when it finished?....I pulled the plug and moved on to the next game....

ahhh very very fun game. its a mix of gta 4 /assassins creed . one of my favorite games. mad underrated. fun missions where u can go in different ways. either sneak in thru the roof or gun blazing. or ram the front doors with a car. loved the ending too. plus u fight in a revolution against nazi's ! liked the story too. too bad the company went bankrupt or something after the release.

I don't get it... this game has a regenerative health system - so they pick on it coz of that. But what about every modern shooter that ditched health kits and has regenerative health as well?!
Also, how come BioShock uses health kits (unlike other fps games at the time of release and today) and manages to be an experience that is much more cool and amazing than the critically acclaimed Modern Warfare 2, without getting picked on as well.

Stealth IS an option! I've played through the entire game in the most difficult mode, and conclude the game 100% by cleanin every emplacement on the map and getting every perk... and most of it undercover... just have to be smart... if sneaking was easy... everybody could be a special agent!

This game is LOT of fun. If Sean dies while trying then you have to rethink your plan (the Jailbreak mission took me a few attempts - an adrenaline pumping moment when I finally busted the guy out and made my getaway). the B & W of the Nazi areas really gives it a 1940's feel. One thing though, it's a real shame that you cannot view the lookout points more than once. My fave laugh is the Nazi race caller at Saarbrucken announcing someone has left their car lights on in the car park!

I enjoy that a game reviewer suddenly knows all the details of the Nazis invasion of France, and therefore calls this game "historically innacurate" (i.e. nothing to do with WW2).

This reviewer is a total retard. A goofy version of WW2? Why? Cause the war started when the US arrived to help? really? And don't start with regenerating health, ever played COD? Also, he has NO sense of stealth. From what I've heard, you can disguise yourself as a geman soldier? That's awesome! Highly underrated game.

Because you're not an American grunt, on the frontline shooting down snipers and infantry, in a very fixed linear storyline...Then yep this game doesnt relate to WW2...
In as much as this is set in the 40s, IN FRANCE!!!! HELPING THE FRENCH RESISTANCE!!!

I don't get it... this game has a regenerative health system - so they pick on it coz of that. But what about every modern shooter that ditched health kits and has regenerative health as well?!
Also, how come BioShock uses health kits (unlike other fps games at the time of release and today) and manages to be an experience that is much more cool and amazing than the critically acclaimed Modern Warfare 2, without getting picked on as well.

Stealth IS an option! I've played through the entire game in the most difficult mode, and conclude the game 100% by cleanin every emplacement on the map and getting every perk... and most of it undercover... just have to be smart... if sneaking was easy... everybody could be a special agent!

This game is LOT of fun. If Sean dies while trying then you have to rethink your plan (the Jailbreak mission took me a few attempts - an adrenaline pumping moment when I finally busted the guy out and made my getaway). the B & W of the Nazi areas really gives it a 1940's feel. One thing though, it's a real shame that you cannot view the lookout points more than once. My fave laugh is the Nazi race caller at Saarbrucken announcing someone has left their car lights on in the car park!

Did they complain that it was "ridiculous" that one Marine could fight his way through an army of aliens and forces of Hell on Earth?
