  • Thanks for answering the questions we all get asked.

  • @ozzy78 hopefully i did ok xD;

  • However, I really like that many foreign people get interested in Japan and visit Japan for sightseeing or to learn Japanese whatever they want.

Even now I'm visiting Canada here, there're a lot of people who are interested in Japan.

I do love it :D Thank you! Sorry for my poor English skill...:( haha

  • @UNAGI4844 Excellent points...I totally know what you mean :)

  • Hi :) I'm a Japanese guy who has been in Canada to learn English and to work.

I have a working holiday visa, and I totally agree with you.

Because I think Japan has basically many differences from any other countries like how you should work.

We always have to smile and be (let's say "too") kind...

And as you said, they really expect how great you work at their own shops, restaurants, etc...

  • By "come here to stay," do you mean like travel/see it for a good while?

and if so。。。 (if my grammar sucks then, i mean where do you recommend?... also i guess how would you recommend one should do such a thing? 旅館?Hostels?)

  • I've never thought of working in Japan, but I still found this really interesting, the blog was a good read too! Hohoho!

LOL in the descripition "Other people with this disease:", Oh God that made me laugh so much, haha!

  • i'm amazed that i got into Japan considering some of the stuff i've done kekekekekekekekekeeee!!!(^-^)

  • So like, what do you work as?

    「Can I work in foreign country?」

  • I just read that blog post. Knowledge has been learned today xD. I was considering going to Japan and working there for a couple of years but hmm... maybe, I not sure about it. I just really need something to break the tedium of my life. Hmm maybe I'll just buy a new hat instead xD

  • @PsyIn2D a new hat sounds good XD

it really depends on you!!! even though it's really not the best place to work, Japan is an amazing place to live :)

  • *live to work

  • you are absolutely, 100% right. if u r suuuper lucky u may hav a good job in japan, bt normally, more than 90% not. ppl lie to work in japan. not work to live. its no good. japan is deff country for vacation

  • I think a lot of people forget that when you go to a country to work and live that is what you are doing that is your job its not gonna be an easy task but at the same time if you are in a country you love then the work side to it isn't that big of a deal, like you say dont let work become your life.

  • @JHillLife yeah, it's so, so true. and especially in Japan it's always hard to find a balance because a LOT is expected of you at work (although foreigners do have it easier than Japanese in a lot of ways)

  • @everydaymimei mmmm yeah that is true however as an ALT the responsablity is a little slack which leaves time for a lot of other stuff. The best way to go around it is to just change up your lifestyle a bit by maybe taking a trip to another city on the weekend or something. anything so that your life isn't really monotonous. would you say you dont like working in japan?

  • I'd like to go to japan just to stay, but I'd want to stay for a while, but I can't afford to~

hence the needing a job thing... but that's all future... I need to focus on other stuff before I decide to go of to another country...
