CDN Aviation Museum has one-TB-25J Mitchell III Serial:44-86699 Rgn: RCAF 5244-and she's a beaut! Saw the engine start-up and take-off from Vintage Wings of Canada this spring. VWC has a Corsair (for Hampton Gray VC- last CDN VC), a Spitfire, 2 Hurricanes, a Mustang, and a Kittyhawk (All in RCAF or fleet air arm colours).... The Spit is beautiful.. the Mustang sleek and fast, the Hurricane deadly... but the Corsair is raw power. They had the Mynarski Lancaster in Sept - but I missed it......
Imagine this multiplied 16 times onboard a ship...add to it the excitement & great emotion of the fact that these 16 planes were about to start a mission to give it them back to Japan after the black eye of Pearl Harbour...plus the knowledge those gutsy fliers were, for all purposes on a suicide mission; o & did I mention this was on a gale-force sea while your escorts are firing their big guns at an unknown enemy? Now that beats any Airshow What?!?!

I remember seeing this B-25 at an airshow in the summer. It flew over and boy was it LOUD!
