  • Great footage, River Birchy girl, I love this stuff!!! (favourited) The ruins look South American to me, you know? I'm thinking Mayan or Aztec, so perhaps the Ancient Ones came from there originally. Have they found artifacts of any sort?

  • @sainter1 A great many artifacts have been found, yes. The place was well-excavated before being opened to the public. It is believed the Ancient Ones traded with Central Americans such as the Mayans or Aztecs, and perhaps blended with them when they thus "disappeared." No one seems to know where they came from. They made beautiful pottery, etc.
