Black ice!? Huh, you must live in Louisiana or somethin'! Black ice usually occurs in way below 0°C/30°F, when many vehicles happen to brake in a given section of a snow-covered road, usually intersections, therefore causing friction (heat), which melts the snow, and then it becomes ice.
On this vid, it is obviously above freezing point.
Somehow, all I can think of is that they all deserved to crash - if you can't drive for the conditions, then don't drive at all. With luck none of them will ever touch a car again as they were just lucky it was another car that stopped them.
