Why do radar images from Jackson appear rather than the "Conditions Across The Region" screen? B/c the radar was not on any weatherSTAR until the 4000 which came out the following year this video was made, 1990. This was before then, obviously.
With the Weather STAR 3000, the cable company could optionally attach an outside radar feed to the STAR, and it would normally queue during the last ten or so seconds of the local forecast.
Was it common for the narration by Dan Chandler to say "The current conditions" when the "Latest Hourly Observations" page was actually showing?
