  • I am determined to buy this and have the kids I babysit watch this.

I REALLY miss this show. TT^TT

  • I don't know what lord corn has to do with any thing. Maybe he was a general in the Revolutionary War. Along with general poodle and general cereal.

  • Anyone else think the first 10 seconds of the intro sounds more like it focuses on the romance between James and Sarah?? If only it was so ;)

I wish PBS would re-air this show, or follow through with the sequel ideas. I'm in college, and I would watch it if they aired another series like this!!

  • I bought it :) You have no idea how loud I squealed when it came in the mail and when I heard the theme song again-ah such great memories! This show is amazing, I lve it so much and it really inspired my love for history. I have no clue why they do not promote shows like this in education more or create other series focused on different periods in history.

  • Whoopi was in the show?! No wonder I liked it

  • sequal please civil war or the war of 1812 image james and sarah with frances scott key, andrew jackson or president lincoln the buliding of the statue of liberty

  • Gee i wish they would continue the show to this point now were we are in war...yet again for something utterly Pointless and how intollerable acts are coming up yet again but this time it isnt england..its our own leader and congress!!!! with the tax rising and gas prices rising...id rather have the tea taxes from england!!!! T_T i mean technology and modern homes are great now and then but living in the 1700's and 1800's seem like MUCH easier times...i mean isnt war only to protect our rights?!

  • kids no-a-days need to watch this i was 4 and agreed this was better then "dora,we need to find the magic treeof fairy valley!!" :/ i loved this and im only 13 now!!

  • BEST SHOW IN THE HISTORY OF EVER!!! i own this dvd set and i am so glad i do. i loved this show when i was 8, love it now too when i am almost 18. hasnt changed a bit <3

  • i loved this show when i was in grade school even my parents loved it becuz it helped me with social studies, but then i 4got about for a few years cuz they never showed it on tv -_-' (i know bad me) but when i found it again i was excited becuz i miss it so much and watched the series again :3 and i wish 4 this show 2 be on tv :D

  • I heard rumors that they are going to try a civil war version of it, maybe. Ah, I remember this show from my youth

  • I have a lot of happy memories associated with this show. I'll definitely get this set.

  • I want this.

  • Walter Cronkite= Ben Franklin

    Arnold Schwarzenegger= Baron Von Steuben

    Ben Stiller= Tom Jefferson.

    And that's all i remember

  • This was the best show ever, it was educational and was a great show to watch ,

P.S it had Arnold Schwarzenegger, sylvester stallone and ben stiller?!?!? I never knew that.

  • i read something about The creators of Liberty's Kids doing a sequel to the show. The sequel is to be done about the American Civil War.

  • @irisisis That'll be great if they do that. I'll watch it

  • I have this now on dvd and i am now learning about the american brittish revolution

  • I'm 16 and Istill love the show. I am so getting this dvd collection.

  • Great! It well worth the money!!!!!!!! (Just don't pull the cds out hard or the tabs break off. All my tabs broke off so now the cds fall out when i open the case to get one!)

  • Now this is a show that should be brought back. It may be for kids but it is the kind of show that gets them excited about history rather then fighting and weapons like cartoons today. If only the hands of time could be turned back to when shows worth watching (like this one) were on TV.

BTW when I get a chance I'm so getting this :D

  • Liberty News Network!!! I miss that soo much!!!

That's it, I'm buying this NOW.

  • im buying this ya know

  • They need to bring this show back. Walter Cronkite was the man. R.I.P.

  • My local WB/CW station used to air this show, as well as PBS.

  • I remember watching this show on PBS since the TV where my parnets worked had like 3 channels

WTF? Arnold Shwaarzenegger, Dustin Hoffman, Billy Crystal and Sylvester Stallone in the same show?
