@OrthodoxDarwinist I've been watching Kahane videos and I have a hard time understanding how he could be called a racist. Obviously you are implying he is racist in the sense that he thinks Jews are a superior race. However, Judaism is not a race although it is a people, there are white jews, black jews, yellow jews and brown jews. And Judaism is open to anyone to convert. Additionally Judaism contains a set of 7 moral laws which, if a non-Jew follows, puts them at an equal level to a Jew.

@steute2011 I don't disagree that he was an extremist. I was merely commenting on the amount of energy this guy had. Kahane was a working machine who could lecture all day long on his views - which I don't necessarily think are defensible. He was simply a passionately inspired guy.

His views are reprehensible, but he's willing to defend them as intelligently as possible against anybody. Watch his lecture at Brandeis. He takes on a whole audience of college kids. Most people wouldn't be capable of doing what Kahane did.
