I've tried using my old Suave shampoo that worked good on my short hair but now it's just making my hair feel gunky and stuck together like it has a layer of film on it. Baking soda or clarifying shampoo washes it out without sticking but then it's super dry. Thanks.

@MightyRavendark haha of course it wont grow if you trim every 2 month! even if it gets damaged, just use air conditioner to protect your hair and trim once a year if you want it to grow!

its going to be a tough ride man, i got 21 months and im stilll struggling a bit, i tie it at night so i dont struggle as much in the morning, but what I do recommend is to tie it when its long enough, mine was long enough at month 13

Ya man it seems to take forever when you're on those months, from like the 11 to 12 I think I'm right now and it's plain annoying ( I feel like a dork ) but my hair is almost like yours only black so I hope it growths in the same time as yours... because to me, sincerely it seemed quite quickly :D

But would you say your hair grows about an inch a month? did you measure it? also did you take any certain vitamins?
The way i got my hair to go long is from my passion for music....when ever i got the urge to cut it....i would put on guns n roses and listen to them and watch them...to avoid the stages where you wanna cut it. wear a hat. when you start looking goofy with a forward baseball hat or what ever.....switch to a backward trucker hat. it allows the hair to breath and it makes you look like axl rose :)

right now im at about 15 months in your video. but last year before i cut it, it was at around 19 months.
and a few years ago mine was at about 23 months.
im growing mine back out for another year or two then im keeping it that way

Been growing it again since last April and the fringe is down to my chin and the rest is just past my shoulders.
