If you were truthful, you would recall that the Army were welcomed in 69 because they were getting battered from the protestant community (fellow Irish) and we came in to prevent it. Tea stops were given by the catholics and we were well received. IRA couldnt have any of this and shot the 1st soldier. According to British Army evidence 21 soldiers fired their weapons on 'Bloody Sunday' and shot 108 rounds between them. Two soldiers were responsible for firing a total 35 bullets. Soldier F fired 13 shots and Soldier H fired 22 shots and both soldiers were in the area of Glenfada Park at the time of the shooting.
