  • When I saw the video, I came to hate on Ke$ha. but she really did do the song justice, why doesn't she make real music on her albums?

  • @theBadmusicpatrol Because people would just ignore her... also because of society. She probably wouldn't make any money since the pop industry is huge :)

  • @WindsorSpitfiresRock yea i guess that really should have been a rhetorical question, money is the answer, people just aren't as driven to make music without the help of electronics and or auto-tune anymore its harder to sell.

  • Sorry, don't like it. Looks like a bunch of drugged out emo kids butchering a classic.

  • @RoJo41078 ROFL

  • My oh my has my respect level for this young lady increased dramatically. She can really rock. I commented on her version of Dylan's Don't Think Twice, but her version of this Stones classic really floors me. If she does decide to rock out, how will it be received? Will the rock "purists"(who I am not too keen on) say you're a teeny bopper, forget it; or will the pop crowd(who I am also not keen on) say why do you want to do that for? Hope she does some more of these types of songs. She's good!

  • @1965mjv

I'm thinking kind of the same: if she's actually going to release a rock album that deserves this title musically and stylistically, then she might end up being stuck between a rock and a hard place.

She has in fact announced that her next album in the works is inspired by 70's rock and will go a lot more into that direction musically. I hope she can pull off this experiment, it would suit her voice.

You might wanna listen to her collab with Alice Cooper btw.

  • @Abaddon133 Thanks for the suggestion. I gave the KeshAlice(sorry about that) a spin and I thought, they did a great job. I guess I'm still partial to her haunting version of Dylan's "Don't Think Twice..." It will be interesting to hear that next record, and to see how she fits that 70's rock sound into her style. Take care and thanks again.

  • hipster attack

  • @BeautyWithAngela I love Kesha, but this comment made me laugh for twenty minutes.. ;x

  • @Becauseitsmex3 lol i love Kesha too

  • Ke$ha is technically a better singer than Katy Perry!

She may not have the range but she executes well

  • 26 people don't love music country r_r

  • I love when people bring acoustic guitars to parties

  • @psychlover721 : I agree! I think it was her way of trying to break into the music business, and though her albums are great and fun to sing, I'd love if she put out her unreleased songs on a CD or songs like them. But I love Ke$ha either way :)

  • i think the makeup and glitter and face paint is a symbol of the fact that she is just hiding her true talent...raw music with that beautiful voice! i would buy an album of this kind of music by kesha :)

  • God love her so much

  • well , i hope glozell to watch this

  • @rihannanavy555 LMFAO IKR

  • Thanks! This is a very cool video.

  • church choir...lot of idiots raping a great song....

your mothers will be proud i guess, bunch of fucking ************************

  • @kristoffmcewan GET A FREAKING LIFE BITCH

  • Comment removed

  • @kristoffmcewan who are you?

  • That's REALLY good

  • yoyoyoyo peace qiana i was there and the guy on the far left by the staircase is Tommy, real piece of shit. yeah tommy get some!!!! huray beer!!!! out yall.

  • I'm trying to imagine myself at that party...I don't know if I'd enjoy being around that kind of people or not

  • Kesha, why do you sing such shit on your albums? Pity.

  • sounds pretty good actually, but what a disgusting group of people

  • Wow, i wish the music industry didn't suck so much.. To take a girl with some talent like Kesha and make "tik tok" and that dinosaur song and whatever else... What a waste! Shouldn't the studio be designing the best music an artist is capable of? Enhancing talent, rather than destroying any semblance of it?? I wish people had attention spans and standards high enough to make Tik Tok and I Gotta Feeling and Katy Perry's crap disappear the second they hit the airwaves. :-(

  • @peachtable966 it's the same with katy perry if you didn't know.

katy can even play e-guitar and acoustic guitar (and piano) but most of her last record was not that good. type in Thinking of you Live and you'll see katy could do so much better :/

  • Hey man god bless her for having fun and loving life she's something else this girl

  • I love ke$has pop trash music, but now I'm in love with her. This is awsome.

  • BURN IT WITH FIRE!!!!! CRAPPY PRETENTIOUS JUVENILE PIECE OF CRAP MASSACRING AN AWESOME SONG

  • @cameljoe212 fanboys shouldn't be alloud to have youtube accounts, this cover is fantastic, grow the fuck up

  • @dillon123met Sure thing bitch, Kesha is the most god awful pop monstrosity crammed down the throats of Americans in a long time. She is utterly devoid of talent. Tell me to grow up? Go back to middle school and learn some taste you fucking clueless little hooker.

  • @cameljoe212 1) i am a dude, so you're just making youself dumb calling me bitch, and hooker, 2) why would you even come to the video if you don't like it 3) she's popular becasue she sells records, how does something sell, it's bought by somebody else, and why would you buy something? because you enjoy it, now, i won't argue with you, pop is shitty, but don't hate just to hate, music is supposed to be about love and expression...

  • @cameljoe212 You must be magic!!! Telling an occupation from a comment :/

  • i would give her a lot more credit if they put this out as a single rather than all the other shit she did

  • @Drunknwow you're right, she sounds so awesome with her real voice, man, ahh kesha please turn around and rock!

  • i watched and commented on this video a month or two ago and was amazed. i really hate kesha's music, but this is great. her cover of dylans "dont think twice its alright" is awesome too

  • I want to hate this so much, but it's really fucking good.

  • back to the practice room. you wouldnt know a needle from a spoon if you fell on it. back to work young ladies. sorry.

  • Fuck this bullshit.

  • shes so beautiful :') and she can sing so amazingly <333

  • shes cute except when shes in bathing suit. shes got the physique of a 50 yr old mother of 4.

  • okay didn't expected this

  • @Copyrightbreaker22 if u didnt expect this, look up her cover of dont think twice its alright.

  • Was this at a lesbian or gay rights convention?

  • @icabodcranium gay = lesbian. retard.

  • @MatthewMobscene Really? When I look in the Webters dictionary it says this.

    gay=MatthewNobscene

  • @icabodcranium I wonder how did you get the 'Nobscene'? retard (2). im gay, you're homophobic and retarded, i don't mind. :)

  • @MatthewMobscene Im 2 for 2 and your stricking out!

  • Steve Earle's cover of this is the best version, other than the Stones original!

  • I read Ke$ha's interview in Rolling Stone where she said the only record she listened to over & over was Dylan's Nashville Skyline & I thought "what the fuck is wrong w/ you, why do you make that ridiculously crappy dance music?!?" It's clear Ke$ha is NOT doing the kind of shit she wants to do, but doing something that sells. She needs to take the cash she's made & make a REAL record close to her heart. It may not sell, the critics may crap on it, but at least she'll be keeping it real!

  • @donedave If you care, Ke$ha says her next album (that she's working on now) is going to be a rock album.

  • @donedave OR perhaps like many people, Kesha has varied tastes and is greatly moved by blues/folk themed music but gains more enjoyment from singing music that is upbeat and danceable?

  • @donedave

Fuck that !!! If she was REAL she would be still in bars Singing REAL music.

  • Am I seriously the only person who thinks she is not only semi-talented, but also somewhat attractive, glitter or no?

  • @jonjuan92 She's definitely cute, now if she'd just make a real honest record.

  • Why doesn't she sing more of this genre?

  • Holy shit has my opinion of her changed

  • Oh my god, i am an animal and i am impressed, just fucking impressed.

  • i cant stand this chick but its not the worst version i have heard but close

  • why the fuck would you listen to music you perform and practice all the time

  • They say money changed Ke$ha's Style

    I say Dr. Luke.

  • @Frzned9x Amen. He's the one who autotunes he and tell her to do they white girl whiney rap thing she does.

  • That wasn't Jack White at 0:22, was it?

  • @unclefeezus

Don't think so. Jack has a wider face/cheek bones. Def kinda looked like him

  • It was ok, not amazing. Her voice is great, but we all know girls who can do this.

  • so many hipsters

  • WHY?! Seriously her voice is actually quite good, so why does she make absolutely dreadful pop music?

  • @gomagash To become a master-troll. Making millions making songs that make fun of the people who dance to them? Successful troll is successful.

  • @gomagash because a lot of people like that pop music that you find dreadful.

  • @gomagash

Because she likes the sort of music she makes I guess. Millions other people who pay money to buy it on itunes and elsewhere like it too. You are entitled to your own opinion about whatever genre of music, and so is everybody else.

  • @Abaddon133 She has said she doesn't listen to her songs.

  • @gomagash

I know, that's from the interview with Seventeen magazine she had last year, and it's been posted on Reddit for example (is this where you know this from?).

People on Reddit are misinterpreting this though, because it's taken out of context.

She didn't mean that she things her music in itself is douche-y. What she meant was that listening to your own music in general is douche-y (and narcissistic, that's what she was trying to say I presume).

  • this is fairly awesome and not what i was expecting at all

  • everyone in that room loves ecstasy

  • Ke$ha, why do you keep producing crap when you have such an amazing voice? Holy cow that was incredible.

  • Woah, bro.

  • ok i hate Ke$has music. i dislike her whole persona, and i hate her attitude on music. she's controlled by the record company and is just a typical pop star. but for now on, i'm defending her voice. this is amazing

  • @ripthisjoint908 as of now she left her old record company and her next album is gonna be of her own old 80's vibe songs

  • @ripthisjoint908

"Her attitude on music"? What is your impression of her attitude? I'm just curious as to what persons who dislike her but aren't ignorant, self-righteous haters think of her. I like to know other people's perspective.

And yes, she's not just a better singer, but a better artist in general than most people give her credit for, that's for sure. (By which I mean she's her own songwriter for instance.)

  • Duh Ke$ha can sing, she just likes Autotune! Lmaoo, who doesn't like autotune.? Autotune is sexy

  • You morons would know she could sing if you would do some research before you hate lol

  • @prodigynitrogen The Stones definitely had a strong country influence on Sticky Fingers (as so many bands did in the early '70s). You can hear it most on Sticky Fingers and Exile on Main Street. Jagger even affected a total country twang in his voice, and the lead guitar style was undeniably pure country (slide/almost pedal steel sound). Anyone who says it's pure rock with no country influence knows little about either genre or the connection (especially at that time) between the two.

  • You Guys Rock~ Joe Sabolick

  • If she can sing like this why the hell does she use so much autotune? ):

  • @cstakolich her record label made her. they wanted her 2 get a bigger audience

  • wow this is pretty good

  • maybe she's talented but all this proves is that even the best of modern musicians can't compete with a 70 year old british cocaine addict. I'd love to see her try Bob Dylan.

  • @stephenrdade she will be covering Bob Dylan. On a new tribute album. she'll be singing Dont Think Twice, Its Alright

  • @SarahAndMyMusic that's both far out and kind of offensive, don't thin twice it's alright is just too personal, sort of like her covering hey jude, or the star wars theme (sorry I went trough my records to decide which would be to personal and that stuck out the most)

  • @stephenrdade i understand. she says u can hear her crying on the track tho. im excited 2 see how she handles the song tho.

  • @stephenrdade if you'd love to see her do bob dylan, she actually did a cover of "don't think twice, it's alright" you can find it here on youtube.

  • seeeeeeeeee told u shes talented

  • i love her cover of this

  • Booze and country songs.

  • good cover

  • FUCK THE HATERS!! KE$HA IZ AMAZING SO GET USE TO IT OK

  • Fuking Haters there only one guitar n she does have talent... This is freaking real her voice is real stop hating. Go masturbate or something if don't have something good to say.

  • Fuck Kesha, Stones Fa Life

  • @ElRico2525 fuck u kesha fa life

  • i wish she had a solo verison of this song! lmao all the other people kinda suck :P

  • shes hot if she looked and acted normal.

  • i lovee :)

  • followed the link thinking i was gonna be disgusted at some pop chick trying to do the stones. vocals weren't bad at all, as off tune as the guitar was the vocals weren't bad. almost wanna say the chick should be singing folk after hearing it.

  • I'm so confused. Kesha has my heart whenever she wants, after watching this video.

  • Holy shit would be an understatement...

  • Saw the name, came to talk shit, left impressed. Sorry Ke$ha.

  • @Zack7790 Maybe you shouldn't judge a book by it's glittery cover.

  • @Zack7790 That happens a lot on Ke$ha videos, when haters watch :)

  • I actually like this version better than the original.

  • she has a beautiful voice :)

  • this is recorded and mixed. fake. don't believe it at all.

  • @BreyerWhiteMusic yeah seemed a little too good to be true

  • @BreyerWhiteMusic no how woould you know?

  • @murphypoe the quality. the crowd sounds sampled. auto tuned kesha

. like 5 guitars but you can only hear one?

  • @BreyerWhiteMusic theres only one guitar?....

  • @murphypoe its shows more when the camera pans

  • @BreyerWhiteMusic no hes just patting the guitar hes not playing it

  • oh you can actually hear those guitars

  • @BreyerWhiteMusic oh you can actually hear those guitars

  • @BreyerWhiteMusic

Everybody/Everything in the video is perfectly in sync with the song, and you can hear the one guy patting on his guitar, besides some other background noises that can be observed as actually coming from the people in the video. This can't possibly be fake imo.

  • to those who claim kesha can't sing this just proves all you bastards wrong.

  • wow, I like this girl

  • Seems like such a boring party.. :/

One of my favourite songs right there though! I wasn't dissapoint.

  • SHE IS GREAT!

  • I don't like Kesha's music but this shows me she can sing I gotta take my hat off to her

  • People continue to hate even though this is solid proof she can sing.

  • well this is not that good. seriously. it is better than ''animal'' but it still aint good

  • Thank you, dear Kesha, for ruining this beautiful song.

  • @jasminmelton What are you talking about at least its not in all autotune she has a great voice i wish she would sing more songs like this

  • @jasminmelton

Late response since your comment is a month old now, but she hardly ruined this song. It was a perfectly good cover of it, the guitar was a bit off a few times, but her vocals and delivery were fine.

Maybe you just prefer the song if it's being sung by a male voice and that's the reason you don't like this cover?

  • um this isn't country it's the rolling stones

  • Niiice version...old song, new day..like a rolling stone, there to stay. Call me the tumblin dice if you please, but we will roll on, and put your mind at ease.

  • <3

  • wasnt surprised:3 ive known she can sing ever singe i heard goodbye...even if she was a country singer shed still be my idol and my favorite singer ever:)

  • The Mainstream destroys good Singers!

  • OMG HER VOICE IS BEAUTIFUL <3

    SHE CAN SING YEAAAA :D

  • 0:55 WTF??????????????

  • wow I used to think Kesha had no talent because all of her songs sound very auto tuned and annoying but this proves me wrong she actually does have talent :)

  • keshas awsome if you dont like her get a life and stay out of hers

  • Ke$ha used autotune in ONE song to sound techno and suddenly people think that she cant sing well. Well suck on this haters(:

  • @simonea214 Dude, she uses autotune in every single one of her songs. Can't you hear it?

  • @sill313 What I mean is that she only uses it to sound techno. Notice in Blah Blah Blah where she only uses it in the pre chorus? Now is she was gonna use it to fix her voice, wouldnt she use it throughout the song?

  • @simonea214 i know what you mean, she doesn't use it to fix her voice, just for ''cool''-effects, right?

  • @sill313 I'm sorry have you heard every single one of her songs? Both albums plus the 20 track demo and all her unrealeased songs? I didn't think so, don't base your assumptions on the songs that are put on the radio and don't even act like other artists aren't autotuned!!

  • @sill313 and why do you care?

  • @TheWWEUploader2010 I like Ke$ha and her music. I was just pointing out that she does use autotune on every song except for her old acoustic demos. It is just more evident at some parts of certain songs because it is used more or less depending on the part of the song and how she/her producer wants it to sound. And I care because I'm interested in becoming a producer myself.

  • @sill313 well I hope you accomplish that :)

  • This voice is annoying as fuck, sorry.

  • @AkumosBDF what the fuck is wrong with you?

  • @AkumosBDF u b trippin'

  • haters are LOSERS. Keep going Ke$ha, nobody can pull u down, I kno u can do it more and more <3333

  • luved it

  • I wasn't shocked at all, I always knew she could sing, I knew the momment I heard "goodbye".

Thumbs uo if you agree with me!

  • can i call it as ur official music video? i really like it, lov u more and more and moreeee <333

  • See yal? everyone's used to seeing Ke$ha but this is kesha.

  • Are most of the people in this video, drunk? or high or something? They look spaced out :l Great voice though D:

  • WHY CAN'T SHE SING MORE SONGS LIKE THESE?!

  • Stone's do it better..way better. Kesha's a very good singer though, without that autotune shit.

  • kesha's a great singer i wish she'd sing like this more
