I'm really glad the dad admitted he was wrong because if he didn't then the family would be worse. I'm so proud of the dad and mom they have come SO far
Time-out is a wonderful way to discipline. However, the children should know the purpose of time-out, so they don't sit and sulk, thinking negative thoughts while in time-out. I tell my children the purpose is to think about why they were wrong and how they can change their behavior. I let them know they needed a break to think about their actions. Otherwise, kids just sulk in time-out and don't appreciate the purpose.
I think it's amazing to see (also for the sceptic parents) that the kids are always upset when Jo leaves, even though she is the one who introduces the discipline! That really shows the parents that they don't have to be afraid to discipline their children, because they don't stop loving their parents for it!!
i like their house lol. i love the little girl i wish that nanny 911 could come for my neice and my knewph because thier mean and i hate them alot so come to my house nanny 911.
I love Jo-Jo; she's awesome and helps a lot of people who desperately need it. The one thing I wish she would do, though, is stop using such an exaggerated baby-talk tone of voice. It's patronizing even to children. They hear that adults are not spoken to this way because they are respected. It is just as easy to project love and support in a voice that makes them feel respected and empowered instead of patronized and embarrassed.
jojo u r a merical worker u r amazing u need to teach my aunt to be a good mom cuz her 1 year old doesnt sleep in her crib and and she has to sleep with her
Great stuff. I love seeing these enormous, roomy middle America homes, while I in Washington DC have a tiny colonial way overpriced and 1/4 the space. Jo is indeed a God!
Wow, this episode made me feel like crying. I'm glad to see that Jo taught the parents how to love their kids enough to discipline them into behaving correctly. The lil girl almost made me feel so bad for her tho, I was like aw... let her have her chair. But Jo plan actually worked. That was great. :)
I don't know where these kids come from. I don't know any kids who were like this, except spoiled kids. Notice they are all suburban. Its not fair, what about kids in poor areas who need help?
I think they're trying to make sure nothing awkward come up. If the family's poor and it's not JUST an issue of the child's behavior but also an issue of resources, it makes the producers uncomfortable.
It's a rarely acknowledged fact that good teachers are often terrible parents.
But I think the more important issue here is Mrs Bailey. She is way too attractive for that husband of hers. I would love to have the chance to help build up her self confidence and self respect.
Yeah, Dad you owe Jojo an apology & lose your arrogant, know-it-all attitude. Your house was unhappy & chaotic before Jojo came & taught you how to be an effective parent!
jo is amazing, and she isn't filled with that foul language the father used. jo is a great nanny, she even helped me, 10 years ago when I was 6, like jayden.

i think Jo is good with kids but not with adults/parents.
She's a little too harsh to parents isnt it. At the beginning she sounds like a judge. I dun think the police is wrong to feel he is being disrespected.
Where's the apology you government paid piece of shit? Too much pride, you asshole?? YOU'RE the problem we're NOT criminals, stop treating us as such.

I'm almost 99% sure she actually gives the kids mind-altering substances when she threatens them with the naughty spot. So they will forever fear the demonic, distorted visions that are associated with misbehaving. I could be wrong, but that's how I'd do it.
For God's sake - will you please just stop posting your own personal history in your disfunctional family? It is NOT interesting. Sorry, but I find your comments under EACH episode really annoying.
Go and see a psychotherapist if you have a problem, youtube certainly won't help you.
Come on, you are 18 years old, you should know better than insulting other people. Why not act more mature ey? Have you actually read all of the comments of Frankleroiswhatever? Have you read how he anounces on youtube that he will kill himself and all the rest? Better get the whole picture before you feel you have to butt in and insult other people. I have thought a while till I posted - and I still find his comments totally unappropriate and very annoying.
don't just linger on the past. i have been in the same situation when i was a kid. only my mom and my grandmother communicated with me, not my dad and my sister. now i just deal with the present, and the way i think about this is that I'm going to be a good parent when I grow up and not let that happen with my kids in the future. if you keep thinking about those stuff, you're tormenting yourself. maybe talk to your parents about it and see why they didn't play with you like that.
WOW. That was pretty immature for the dad to write the nanny a note saying she is "full of shit". and this is coming from a 12 year old.
