This is from a ME 110 the hits are mostly 20mm cannon hits, there is NO WAY this is from an ME 262 which at most (because of the high speed of attack) had 1 or 1 and half seconds in which to fire.
The reason the 110 spends so much time behind the B17 is because the gunners have all been killed already.
Don't forget guncam was recorded at high speed and then played back at QUARTER speed.
This is a famous clip and is well documented as a 110.
I cant even imagine the thrill of the German pilot getting so close to the B17, with it not shooting back. But for the B17 pilots... think about the situation they are in. Imagine you are flying that B17, knowing your Rear gunner friends are both dead. With nothing you can do about the German behind you. Firing away like it was a video game. Constantly hearing your plane get riddled with bullets. Feeling the aircraft buckle and shake more and more violently with each volley.
One of ther most famous gun camera footage taken during WWII. Red1Six is right that this B-17 was likely a stray that was pounched by german fighters. As the fighter gets closer to the B-17, you never see return fire from the tail gunner and you never see 2 .50 cals of the ball turrent move. Likely both tail and ball gunners were already dead.
would of loved to do some stick-n-rudder with that mutha..... rat ...tat... rat tat tat down in flames they go... he was so hung on that target ... he would of been an easy drop.... Can't even imagine being in a B-17 in WW!! you talk about cold
@Red1Six Over a full MINUTE fixated on one target, this guy should have ate dirt. The only thing I can think of is this is a stray 17, had it been in a Box there's no way this 110 would have been able to do this.

Would a 262 have been able to sit on the tail of a B17 without dropping like a stone?

Oh well, they weren't actually carrying candy bars to drop on civilian targets.
