If you look at our video titled "Mario and Luigi Run the Bases" you'll see his mobility pre-op. Carter is Mario. Grouched gait and on his toes without braces. He currently needs the braces for strength, but likely won't need them as he gets stronger. His PT expects him to begin using a walker almost immediately for only 8 weeks or so, then walking independently. The original estimate was6 months, so he's making great progress.
