I played football and basketball and I can say without a doubt the best athletes are basketball players. I didn't have to even be in shape to play football and I excelled.

I've played both and can say this. In baseball there is little to no conditioning required, just an arm and enough upper body power to hit the ball far enough.

In basketball you are more conditioned then football. You do a lot more running in basketball then football.

In football it's a different kind of conditioning, you have to be stronger and more physical, it's a bigger grind on your body then basketball.

u REALLY tell it like it ain't. it takes tremendous skill to maneuver on a court, and shoot the ball with a defender draped all over you. Ball handling is not easy. Granted hitting a 100mph fastball is difficult, but no need to denigrate one to uplift the other.
