I love Nordstrom, but today I was refused shoe shine service at the Bloomington, MN store so that the shoe shine attendant could shine the shoes of two employees. Wow, that's horrible customer service! I will be contacting a number of managers and corporate headquarters tomorrow to discuss the incident.

Nordstrom is a mid-range highend retail establishment. Neiman's, Bloomindales, and Bergdorf are much better department stores and cater to a much higher end client bse.

Nordstrom is Bloomingdales main competitor, theres only one bergdorf. and Saks Fith and Neiman dont compete with Nordstrom, Macys vs. DIllards vs. Lord and Taylor-- Nprdstrom vs. Bloomingdales (neither is "better") and Saks vs. Neiman vs. Bergdorf.
