@xNinjaKingx nah the mid-air jump is unusual, if you recall you had to jump from a cliff THEN press sword button to trigger it. Now you can manually jump on you free will (which is completely new on a 3d zelda) and once in air do the sword jump attack which is kind of like a mid-air jump, this will bring new style of gameplay that didn'T exist before.
In every trailer I see Link with 6 hearts, do they start him off with 6 or do make it six so it is easier for testers and will change when it comes out?

If the arrow thing doesn't work than the code for the boss is locked into repetitive sword slashes that are either sideways or vertically done.
@deathsminion25 now if you're really skilled you don't need to always use the temple item like all other zelda to defeat a boss, you can take him down as a skilled swordsman. it will give a greater diffucultie that was missing in zelda games since TP

OoT was an awesome game but it was the retro Zelda games that got me hooked, Majora's mask was a fun way of messing around with new ideas but it fit the genre, windwaker was worth the time it took to get everything, Twilight princess was beautiful, with it's design and graphics, Skyward sword looks promising but they could've done better, i'm not saying this to diss the game, i'm just saying that they could've made this game a completely epic adventure like OoT, they just didn't want to.

I like the fact that Skyward Sword has a livelier environment than Twilight Princess. The scenery looks brighter and greener, unlike TP which always looks bleak and hazy. Also, I hope Epona is still in this game. It would suck if this game doesn't offer horse riding.

Twilight Princess wasnt realist, it was CEL-SHADED, modified engine from the wind waker made TP look realistic, this game IS NOT Cel-Shaded, its just what Miyamoto did as he loves impression and art
people need to stop complaining about the graphics, really. you wouldn't be a zelda fan if you constantly complained about the graphics. the game is like OoT & TP gameplay with a Wind Waker atmosphere, its fresh, new, and reviving. kinda an up let from a sad/epic game of twilight princess. it looks like a bright and colourful new world, and it looks like a painting come to life almost. so stop complaining!

This boss fight reminds me of the first boss in OoT (Forget her name) combined with some tactics of killing Bongo Bongo. I wish they'd bring back N64 and make a new game on it I hate WII personally. I'm a more controller person I guess
WOW. I NEVER thought I would see the day where someone would say Twilight Princess had ugly graphics. It was a beautiful game. They tried to give it more of a OOT feel with it but of course amped up. It was SUPPOSED to give us Zelda fans (If I can really say "us") another epic adventure like back in the day. TP really amazed me. The way it drew you in was amazing. But I'm sure I am not the only one who played OOT back in 1998. Can any sensible Zelda fan agree? ~Zelda fan for 13 wonderful years~

@jjewell16 I am not blind, and I most certainly am not a bad judge of games. I don't judge based on realism or anything like that. I judge graphics by how they fit with a series and it's games. Twilight Princess was the exact opposite of "zelda-style" graphics. However, the graphics themselves were pretty decent for GameCube and Wii, but don't fit in any way. Skyward sword seems to have found the perfect balance of cartoon, and Twilight Princess.

Oot gave that same mood for me - every movement and pixel in that game had story, character, and magic, and is something that will remain in my heart forever.
Why are people complaining about "too much color". I like color in my games. Twilight Princess was more realistic looking, but the color palette was dull.
...so.... why does everyone want more realistic graphics? i mean... this is a fantasy game. there's nothing realistic about it. no zelda game ever in the history of ever has had realistic graphics. twilight princess just had darker grayer grittyer graphics. zelda is not a realistic game.
and frankly twilight princess had ugly graphics in my opinion. this and windwaker's graphics are much more appealing.
@ragekage209 I totally agree with you. In fact, the reason why I was first attracted to the Zelda series was because of the Wind Waker's beautiful, colorful graphics. I believe that Twilight Princess had somewhat ugly graphics, as well.
P.S. Awesome background music. It reminds me of Wind Waker's music.
Thus in comparison, I think the ideal reason for these graphics are for the open colors, without the faded dark colors and such. For example, how you would never see a pure green or blue, with the exception of the sky. So this new game use it's colors to attract children into buying this game. So for everyone hoping for another Twilight Princess, so sorry for your luck, but stop your bitching and be thankful you got a new Zelda game.
I think I understand what people are getting at with graphics. Everyone was psyched at the realism in Twilight Princess and they don't want to come back to Wind Waker, "although" it was an awesome game as well. However, what people do not understand is that games like this compared to games like TP are based to circulate around younger children more. Whereas in Twilight Princess, they noted that it would be less suitable for those children...

compared to any other console, TP was pretty ugly... except for the water i don't know why but nintendo is good at making water. TP was still an awesome game though.

@TonyRoy69 dude it was a Game Cube game released in 2006 and after that transferred to the wii at that time there was no xbox 360 or PS 3 you had the PS2 so for the time TP was the top graphics you could get

im about to cry about how bad and cliche this game looks. its actually killing me, after such a great game like twilight princess they go and make this. I thought zelda wouldnt fall into this motion control bullshit but i guess not. Why couldnt they just make a twilight princess sequel.

I like the fact that Skyward Sword has a livelier environment than Twilight Princess. The scenery looks brighter and greener, unlike TP which always looks bleak and hazy. Also, I hope Epona is still in this game. It would suck if this game doesn't offer horse riding.

Twilight Princess wasnt realist, it was CEL-SHADED, modified engine from the wind waker made TP look realistic, this game IS NOT Cel-Shaded, its just what Miyamoto did as he loves impression and art

people need to stop complaining about the graphics, really. you wouldn't be a zelda fan if you constantly complained about the graphics. the game is like OoT & TP gameplay with a Wind Waker atmosphere, its fresh, new, and reviving. kinda an up let from a sad/epic game of twilight princess. it looks like a bright and colourful new world, and it looks like a painting come to life almost. so stop complaining!

This boss fight reminds me of the first boss in OoT (Forget her name) combined with some tactics of killing Bongo Bongo. I wish they'd bring back N64 and make a new game on it I hate WII personally. I'm a more controller person I guess

WOW. I NEVER thought I would see the day where someone would say Twilight Princess had ugly graphics. It was a beautiful game. They tried to give it more of a OOT feel with it but of course amped up. It was SUPPOSED to give us Zelda fans (If I can really say "us") another epic adventure like back in the day. TP really amazed me. The way it drew you in was amazing. But I'm sure I am not the only one who played OOT back in 1998. Can any sensible Zelda fan agree? ~Zelda fan for 13 wonderful years~

@jjewell16 This is a personal prefrence, but I preffered Wind Waker's graphics to Twilight Princess's. I didn't like how dark TP was. Even OOT wasn't really as dark in my opinion.

@jjewell16 I am not blind, and I most certainly am not a bad judge of games. I don't judge based on realism or anything like that. I judge graphics by how they fit with a series and it's games. Twilight Princess was the exact opposite of "zelda-style" graphics. However, the graphics themselves were pretty decent for GameCube and Wii, but don't fit in any way. Skyward sword seems to have found the perfect balance of cartoon, and Twilight Princess.

@jjewell16 I agree with you. The graphics in Twilight Princess were gorgeous :D The feel of the game was also one of the many aspects of it that kept me hooked. Oot gave that same mood for me - every movement and pixel in that game had story, character, and magic, and is something that will remain in my heart forever.

Why are people complaining about "too much color". I like color in my games. Twilight Princess was more realistic looking, but the color palette was dull.

...so.... why does everyone want more realistic graphics? i mean... this is a fantasy game. there's nothing realistic about it. no zelda game ever in the history of ever has had realistic graphics. twilight princess just had darker grayer grittyer graphics. zelda is not a realistic game.
and frankly twilight princess had ugly graphics in my opinion. this and windwaker's graphics are much more appealing.

@ragekage209 I totally agree with you. In fact, the reason why I was first attracted to the Zelda series was because of the Wind Waker's beautiful, colorful graphics. I believe that Twilight Princess had somewhat ugly graphics, as well.
P.S. Awesome background music. It reminds me of Wind Waker's music.

Thus in comparison, I think the ideal reason for these graphics are for the open colors, without the faded dark colors and such. For example, how you would never see a pure green or blue, with the exception of the sky. So this new game use it's colors to attract children into buying this game. So for everyone hoping for another Twilight Princess, so sorry for your luck, but stop your bitching and be thankful you got a new Zelda game.

I think I understand what people are getting at with graphics. Everyone was psyched at the realism in Twilight Princess and they don't want to come back to Wind Waker, "although" it was an awesome game as well. However, what people do not understand is that games like this compared to games like TP are based to circulate around younger children more. Whereas in Twilight Princess, they noted that it would be less suitable for those children...

personally i think that OOT's graphics were kinda crappy compared to some of the newer games. I know its not right to compare them now because OOT came out a long time ago. but either way it was still an amazing game.
xD But i still think that the graphics in this game should be a little darker. . . it looks to bright and happy.

there is nothing wrong with the concept of the "motion controls". The problem is NOT the system.
The problems are the lazy third party video game producers who refuse to spend the required amount of money and time to use the systems to their full potential.
game creators is whats killing video game genres. NOT the system manufacture.
And this is the first game i have seen yet that is trying to ACTUALLY do things with the motion controls beyond clunky half assing.
