On its own, Bioshock 2 would have been amazing. But it suffers from having to live up to its predecessor, and it's a bit on the short side, slightly less morally complex, etc.

Still a damn good game. I highly recommend both of them.

I just beat this game an hour ago.

Very disappointing. I'm sorry, but it was short, the characters were thin, and there was no plot twist. The final battle was a joke.

Still, there were some moments where I did actually feel some emotion for what was going on. I won't give them away here, but they left much more to think about than whether or not you should've harvested/saved a little sister.

I still haven't finished the first one and I got it during launch. I just keep getting new games and pushing it back.

And then so many other new games are still coming out so who knows when I'll be able to get this. I at least want to get it to play the multiplayer before I lose my internet connectivity in may. And I like to roll in with the first crowd of online players when it's brand new and fresh to everybody. Maybe online will suck and I'll get lucky.

@InnerRise Since the worlds best multiplayer/online creators teamed up for this game, I bet the multiplayer will be top notch. Im getting this game for the storyline mainly. The first game was the host of the best storyline I have ever seen in a game yet. Unique, intriguing and just plain fucking awesome. Bioshock 2 will exceed everyones expectations. They are solely the protectors of the Little Sisters, that's how they were designed to be; no other job, no other task, there are only Little Sisters to protect. In the first game Jack (The main protagonist) was able to pass himself off as a Big Daddy by wearing their clothing and using these "Big Daddy Pheromones" that way the Little Sisters would trust him.

they were originally rapture's maintenance crew (which is why they have the heavy duty diving suits) but later on in the civil war that was going on the little sisters came into play and then they were repurposed as their protectors. This is backed up by stuff in-game too. Example: the rosie's rivet gun is exactly that, a rivet gun meant for placing rivets (i.e. their original repair duties) but when they became protectors of the little sisters they began using them as a weapon.

wouldn't be surprised because in Bioshock 1, after "killing" Andrew Ryan the whole game turned in the opposite direction.

The big sisters aren't they from little sisters being collected that is why the prototype big daddy is looking for his original so it doesn't get taken up in to a big sister so there is most likely going to be more then 1 big sister

Harder she can move very fast and doesnt stay in one place for too long. In Bioshock 1 you were able to prepare and set up exploding barrels or turrets and the big daddy was slow and easy to avoid, Big sister not so much.
