  • Yes, that is true; there are kids living in Colombian streets.

Guess what though, I've seen very similar youngsters, no older than 8, 9 years of age living in very similar, drug & poverty ridden US streets: NYC, Detroit, Austin, Pittsburgh... The worst actually was Detroit, that place really is the shitwhole of the world.

So, do I have to listen to some yankee over here, lecturing us on the drama we've created and are experiencing? Thanks pal, just think at your own fucking country first.

  • @matteoprez The huge difference is that while you may see kids on the street in the US, most of these kids have to be in school by law. They have access to education. A social worker is always willing to take them if they have no shelter or food. In third world countries thousands of kids die on the street from hunger. Orphanages are so overcrowded that it's unlikely for them to be placed in one. Humanity is a whole. Stop thinking about one nation and focus more on places with the big needs.

  • @NatalieCoon Good point. A bit of a hit & miss, however a good point nevertheless. I'm Italian, and I know Europe rather well. I have lived a quarter of a century in my country, then many years in Los Angeles, and even more in London. Now I live in Colombia from a number f years. I do take it you have only lived in 1 country?

  • My fellow country men, i hope someone helps this poor children. It wreaks my heart to see them all alone like this...

  • Gringos...
