To me, having done A LOT of pure stock racing in the late 60s early 70s. this is the best...heads up..be stock(or look like it) and let the chips fall where they may.

This is easily, my favorite drag racing class, period. Having always loved sleepers, this is the ultimate. I so wish this was on the western part of the country. It is actually inspiring me to do my next several engine builds, with a very OE appearance, useing tricks these guys use internally to make up the difference, and then some. Who needs headers or slicks, not these guys. Amazing numbers.

I love this video & wish I was at this race...I wish the locals down here ran the 1/4mile more often The ONLY time they run 1/4mile here at VMP in VA is for the NHRA Nats.......I hate to see 1/8th mile especially on a perfectly fine 1/4mile track ...This race right here excites me more than the 1/8th mile ADRL. Great Video work!!!!!

very cool 2 run those times w/ so many restrictions ... but make no mistakes.. big strokers .. multiple carbs.. big dollars in these cars .. very cool though 2 see stock " appearing" car that fast
