  • ...Paul Play This at The Grammys!!!

  • Does anyone know why this track was never officially released ??

  • Paul is the best composer of all time. No doubt about that.

  • @jackieP1978 He is singing about getting back to India and loving the country of India. What the heck are you hearing?

  • @JackieP1978 Hate? Why? Pig? Do you know him personally? It is a groove and there is nothing racist about the song or Paul. Such hate and vitriol. Evil? Surely you jest?

  • @JackieP1978 this is the man that wrote black bird you shill he is the farthest thing from a racist

  • @JackieP1978 what's racist about writing a song about a country you visited? Oh, wait, you're heather mills...now I get it...

  • Man I wish this was on a record or a album! :/

  • Maybe this is a take-off of his song "Lindiana...?" Prompting "India" instead of 'Lindia?" It's hard to hear if there's an "L" in front of the "...India..." part due to the vocalizing as well as the British dialect involved? Just a guess. Paul likes to hide meanings and mix lyrics to and fro...?

  • I wonder if we'll get the mp3 of this on one of the remasters re-issues. Hope so.

  • Absolutely brilliant. Love you Sir Paul!

  • you can't tell what he is saying in the beginging

  • As a rock group they sound brilliant.

What a drummer, guitar, vocal sound – perfect!

  • absolute fantastic. Paul is the still the best

  • I asked my Indian mate what he's going on about in this song and he just shrugged and said "fucked if I know"

  • @SimonCoweI Just coz its called India doesn't mean it has Indian musical aspects to it..... that jibberish at the start was just a warm up (this is a sound check)

  • @JamesPaterson2395 OK then how do you explain the rest of his diabolical career?

  • I love it, oh my god, Paul you are the living musican in the word. absolute. And i love that you return to the wonderful hofner bass

  • <3<3

  • Seems like there's no in between for Paul. You either love him or hate him.

  • 12 people idiots.

  • Cool song.

  • Excellent

  • Excellant

  • ...Interesting.. In this one McCartney's mixed Indian Raga with Gregorian Chant and Rock & Roll!

  • @OlymPigs2010 and a generous helping of cunt.

  • Piss off, you little momma´s fucker!

  • @3rdpug Hear hear, 3rdpug. The man's a fucken thief.

  • wow

  • wow ????

  • why is the video messed up? this is one of my very favorites!

  • which song is dis

  • @metamorphosis67 This is beautiful... its not his best but its better than most of the crap out there

  • Clearly an unspoken ode to the Lovely Linda, just 4yrs after her death. Paul is famous for making things from other things and just not telling anyone what its about. It kinda like Palo Verde on the Rushes release. That was Paul & Linda's last recorded ride together on horses days before her death and he put it to a song and never told anyone. "the star of venus looks so bright..." This is McCartney's most emotional and beautiful song...Enough said...

  • MORAISITO music O FUGITIVO the best

  • How come this was never released? Even his throwaways are brilliant

  • @AndrewOMulligan fuckin' right.

  • Amazing.

  • This is a still unreleased song of efforless brilliance by Sir Paul McCartney. In my humble opiniion a love song for India.

  • WoW...Is all I gotta say.

I LUV IT ! It sounds so much different than the demo John made !!

    Luv you, Paul !

  • Trust me this shit is good! This song is a testimony of his greatness! Pure genius!

  • Fyckin' awesome!

  • Comment removed

  • STILL,THE GREATEST SONG NEVER OFFICIALLY RECORDED...BY ANYONE.

  • @EDJ1845

i think that greatest unreleased song is india by john lennon

  • Muito bom...perfeito...esse é o cara!

    Amazing....

The instrumental is great...and no comments about the singer...he is "ór concur" or "hors concurs" if you understand what I meam....

  • Paul has very great songs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • love this version...smiled..reminded me of my gg..love u..

  • john also had an unreleased song "india"

  • some of his greatest music is never put on an album

  • some of his greatest music is never put on an album

  • Its, so Good that he keeps Integrity and Musicality in the Vocal Harmonies , something that has been lost and inept ,w/music /.bands for a longg time , you cannot play music without diverse implementing of ideas, tHIS IS THE SAME BASIC FORMAT THAT DROVE THE BEATLES , great music and vocal Harmonies...

  • wat hav thry got to do with India????

  • brillant.......simply brillant....

  • First time I've even heard of this song..lol

  • Ladies and Gentlemen....The Master of Music....Sir Paul McCartney.

  • A couple of observations: John Lennon also wrote a song called "India." (it was/is available on YouTube).

The words "get back..." appear in a lot of Paul's songs. It is something that I've noticed. It is in this song, in "Get Back" of course, in Golden Slumbers, etc.

  • @Doleafol Paul didn't write the lyrics to Golden Slumbers. Only the music. The lyrics are from an old song, I believe.

  • just love this guys music,

    believe in love

    tervor sizzle

  • Effortless brilliance.

  • Amazing.

  • This song is amazing.

  • FANTASTIC!

  • Paul does an example of Indian "

    Raga" singing at the beginning!

  • A "Masterpiece" Paul !!!

  • @Shamagogue wasn't this written by Lennon ?..but ya it is Great!

  • @kooljsl Lennon wrote a different song titled India which can be found on youtube! Also Lennon wrote another song titled "Sunday Bloody Sunday" ( Irish massacre by British Troops) and this was 10 years before U2 came out with their song of the same name!

  • we are Q.P.R. :) SIR PAUL, RESPECT

  • wow,this is great!

  • Ever heard of a soundcheck??

  • cool vid! it shows closeups on the famous "Hofner Beatle/Violin Bass" also how natural & relaxed the Band are while their performing.

  • Don't feed the troll. You know a person must hate himself when he devotes his entire life to an irrational hatred of a musician.

  • Yes this is clearly about Linda...Listen to the lyrics!

  • This is McCartney's best alternative track since Palo Verde, MMDelight, Frozen Jap, or Old Siam...

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, how haunting. India = Linda?

  • linda is dead she died in 1998

  • Right, that's why it's so sad. He's wondering where she is now.

  • Why is it inforthelonFALL even listens to this genius if he doesn't appreciate the greatest songwriter of all time????

Go listen to Lady ga ga

  • Greatest songwriter of all time? "India, REBBOR'NEBOOR, where are you now" "Everybody gonna dance tonight, everybody gonna feel alright" "If you really love me babe, better than staying in bed, if you really love me baby nod your head. Nod it up, nod it down, side to side, round n round" "Bom bom bom ayia" . LOL

  • Also, Lady Gaga is a cunt too, and I'm not listening to this shit, I'm merely commenting on it. Ok?

  • Then why is Eric Claptons song to Patti Boyd called Layla, and George Harrisons song to her "Something" wouldn't it be called "Patti"?

  • Because they're girl's names.

  • i see a man in pain here

    just keep up paul

    we all love you

  • sadly, it's probably true- after all Paul has gone through- 1st his mother (Mary) died, then Lennon was shot, then Linda died then George died- and of course all the nasty divorces from woman taking advantage of his money instead of marrying for love- disgraceful- but the world is a bad place sometimes, we're lucky to still have Paul and Ringo.

  • youre a wanker

  • This guy is a genius. The stuff he's put out in the past 20 years is every bit as good if not better than a lot of work he did with the Beatles.

If this song had been done with the Beatles and it sounded this good it would have been cinsidered on the all time best Beatles songs.

Keep rockin' Paul. Your music keeps on getting better all the time. I don't know how he keeps on doing it. His "Electric Arguments" cd under his alias 'The Fireman" is arguably his best post Beatles work.

  • @singinnun Electric Arguments is good but better than Band on the Run, or Ram?

  • @helix23 Do not think so , but is a great album and fantastic hear Paul playing live !!!!!!!!!

  • Soundcheck?

    Can't believe it!

    I love this bassline!

  • Can someone please explain to me how Macca jibberjabber can be so damn sexy?

  • brill song.. he should really put this out.. haunting... totally memorable

  • STILL...this most incredible song NEVER released. When I first heard this song I thought it was a studio recording. Simple ...yet hauntingly infectious. Classic Paul.

  • that post says it all EDJ1845...

    Ram on,

    Joe.

  • I LOVE IT! I wish i had the song so I could listen to it over and over!

  • Yes, it's awfully beatiful. Listen to what the man says... The acapella part is wonderful. The instrumental is magical. You've got to be kidding me! Oops, saw your name. I stand affirmed.

  • ... if you like The Beatles or Paul's music, there's no way you wouldn't like this song...

  • They can call him anything they want(cunt, etc...) but the man is a freaking genius when in comes to music . That can never be debated..... Play it gain

  • hahahahaha. loser!!

  • paul mccartney is mozart of the 20 centry

  • lol

  • THIS BEST PAUL MCCARTNEY SONG THAT I'VE HEARD IN YEARS!!! Rates right up there with The Fireman, Beware My Love, Old Siam Sir, So Glad To See You, Monkberry Moon Delight, Helter Skelter, Soily...I could go on...amazing!!!!!!!! LOVE IT THRILLINGTON!...You have to be a REAL Plastic Mac Fan to love this...

  • I wish this song had been included on Driving Rain or Chaos & Creation. I love this song

  • So fantastic. I love the song, the bass-line, and Pauls voice. yeah, Paul still is the best. And this wonderful hofner bass guitar

  • A little bit of jammin - and voila! Great!

  • Can Someone please ask him to play this at Coachella tomorrow?!

  • Again another confirmation that this guy is a musical genius.

  • love it--- love you HARRYxoxoxoxox Debbie

  • with this song, i'm greatly disappointed, as i usually am with paul's newer compositions. everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but i think this is just terrible. The beatles still remain my favorite band of all time though.

  • Love this!

  • Campbell?

  • PAUL MCCARTNEY ROCK

  • So, I have been watching this video several times now and I think it's the simplicity that'grabbed me,. just three chords in a sequence that's been done a million times before but then come up with those vocals. just brilliant. hats off.

  • whats the address of the "secret site"?

  • I learnt, fucking english!

  • This has a scope that reminds me of some of the Police's later work. Sting vocals.

  • i'd like to know which police song this reminds you of, by the way I'm both a big mccartney and a sting fan.

  • It's in the production and the way McCartney is using his voice. Note when he sings "India" the first time! --it's very Sting-esque. Its a departure for him. It's no "Junior's Farm" or "Dance Tonight". There's a kind of expanse and film score quality to the arrangement. I don't think he's consciously lifting from the Police or anything... it just reminds me of Sting sensibilities a bit.

  • VONENGMANSHOVEN

Tea in the Sahara...? Voices into my head...

    Hmmm there there...

  • Funny that for him it's something that he didn't even release and it might be the best song on any newer band's album. Not that new music is bad but you get the point...

  • Cool song.

  • I think this man with John Lennon could make a good pair.

  • dude are you stupid or something he was with John Lennon their band was The Beatles you idiot

    -John Lennon

    -Paul McCartney

    -George Harrison

    -Ringo Starr

    learn about good music

  • I just was jocking, idiot you, take a look to my channel. Thanks for your information i learnead a lot about good music, dumbshit.

  • kovindayly

    Hey don't say that!♪

It could be just one of Ringo's username!☺

If that's you Richie... you are a ...the same old fellow okay?♪

    ♪ ♫

  • Kudos to the earlier posters for figuring this out that this is a song about Linda, not really India. "Linda" just does not work phoenically with the three syllable "India" corresponding to the melody.

  • ya couldn't tell it was paul mccartney singin if he wasn't standing there

  • great song

  • timeless song , from A to F and back, gonna get back, gonna get back,

    , marvelous ...

  • JAJ

  • Oh wow... this is so good. Why, why, WHY is it not released?!

  • OMG what a great song. I've never heard it B4. Paul sounds excellent as always. Great band, too. Go PAUL! I've been to India, too, a few x's, & it's now been a while & I miss it. I hope to get back there somehow, too. Last time was Spring 2000. I am so grateful I got to go! Right now there's no way for me to get back there it seems, but hopefully that will change. Oh well..India is in my heart just like it sez here... just like Paul & his music is!

  • paul's at his best when he writes a song because he wants to and not because he's trying to get a hit. Also, it's nice to really hear the bass in this song.

  • I love this song, thanks for posting !

  • Nice, John and paul now each have there own unreleased songs called india that sound completely different from the other! Never heard this before, Great!

  • fucking weird coincidence isnt it, they should release them as an A/B side for charity or something

  • fantastic! looooooooove this.

  • ahem... did I write that coarse comment? many apologies! :)

  • This is sooooo great. I want Paul play this live!!!

  • how can I download this song?

  • use the download helper

  • damn i'm addicted to this song!

  • My absolute favorite this time, i must every day hear and see this. great!!!

  • absolute great. this must be played live and must be recorded. Such a good song like soily!!

  • great song.

    favorite beatle.

  • ....meh. can't say i dig this one. P.M. and Wings was pretty cool. but paul really needs johns help in his song writing. none of the beatles were as good as they were together, but i do believe lennon was the better solo artist. pauls stuff just never compared, i though.

  • Why in the hell was this not released?????

  • this is the best song Paul's done in YEARS! love it!!!
