Hi, how did you install Cairo Dock on Linux Mint 6?

I downloaded cairo-dock and ..-data, but the only way to start is thru terminal, and if I close that, dock will close also..

I don't get it...

You'll find the menu entry for cairo-dock on the Administration menu or you can run it by pressing F2 and typing "cairo-dock".

I finally got it to work, the old version doesn't work as I want, but the new SVN works well. :)

Just a question: I have Cairo Dock 2 SVN and I didn't know that now there is the beta version... is it stable? The SVN version was a bit difficult to install, is this more simple?

Yeap, it's pretty stable! You can download it from Cairo-Dock's website, I really recommend it!
