This match is why I hate modern Judo. The UKR did not win via anything, he won due to some bullshit passivity penalty.
Yet, they want to ban first attacks to the legs because they want to go back to old school judo? Why not, if you want to go back to old school judo, go back to old school rules? Why not make more time for newaza?
IJF has ruined judo. It is pretty sad that I have to go to BJJ tourneys to actually do judo...
