  • Turbos are fer straights, Straights r boring. Lightweight NA is the way to go fer frequent tracking and endurance racing.

Nope I dun run an aftermarket FPR.

  • Comment removed

  • @racingminds not bashing you personally, but instead of a riced out sized turbo, a decent sized, in this case tiny, turbo will work great on a track. most "tuner" cars just use to big of a turbo

  • are you running a fuel pressure regulator?

  • that is so sexy

  • vtec at :11

  • 0:10 VTEC KICK IN

  • in my opinion ITB's are not worth their money in HP gain. Toda ITB's run for over 2grand plus a tune looking at aout 3500, conservativley. not to mention if you live somewhere where there are drastic changes in temp, like NY, you would need to re-tune with the change of seasons to run properly. all in all minimal gains for too much money and a plain old pain in the ass. i love my s2k to death but i would go boost before ITB's, just like i did lol

  • @johngo1224 exactly. but if i would win the lottery there would be itb's on one of my s2k's and a turbo on the other lol

  • @JSFER2 fuk yea!! But i would have dc2's!One with k20a with itb's and the other with b20 turbo! And because i won the lottery id have my turbo s2k in the garage for ma drift car!And race them all on the track that i own!!!! :D

  • @johngo1224 For starters ur boosted s2k wouldnt last half as long as ur itb s2k..Itb's do do alot actually. There not really made to gain hp,n/a cars dont have a fan creating and blowing cool air into the engin for them.Itb's are pretty much the best modification u can do to a n/a car wen it comes to the intake of cool air.

  • this may sound like a dumb question but what does the car gain from ITBs

  • @sniper50cal2 pretty much easier for air to flow into the engine (obviously). that's why they don't add tons of horsepower, it's like an air intake that's extremely short and no filter for restriction of airflow.

  • thats nothing buuuhhhhh sucks

  • baaaaaaaaaaaa vteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeec lmao

  • thumbs up for vtec kick in at 0:12

  • Awesomness, if i owned an s2 i would probably go the itb route too

  • God I love how you can hear when it hits vtec

  • OH M Gee

  • you can hear the V-TEC kick in at 0:11. very nice

  • Engine is totally stock standard. Supporting mods - J's Racing SPL header, J's Racing twin Titanium catback exhaust, Hondata Intake Manifold Gasket, Hondata KPro and Denso 400cc injectors.

Sorry dude we can't share the Hondata file. ^^

  • really nice done ... no turbo to mess up this NA beauty !!

  • Longer airhorns might yield more mid range but we haven't had the time to test different airhorn lengths. Would have to measure up to make sure they fit under the bonnet too.

  • U need to get the hardware for the regular throttle cable conversion and the workshop that u visit should be able to figure out how to get it done. Jenvey does sell the hardware IIRC.

  • Sounds brilliant, my S2k is in the garage having them fitted this week. Can't wait until it sounds that good!

What other mods do you have?

Any chance I could steal a copy of your Hondata file to get me started?

    Cheers,

    Pete

  • Surely a longer intake would yeild greater levels of torque? I know these engines rev but thats like a sub 150mm inlet length from trumpet end to valve??

  • I have 2008 S2000 AP1 (F20c Engine) (European Model) but its a DBW Throttle.. how can i convert it to regular throttle cable? & what about the Check Engine Light??

  • Engine is totally stock standard. With supporting mods - J's Racing SPL headers, J's Racing twin Titanium catback exhaust, Hondata Intake Manifold Gasket and Denso 400cc injectors, we are currently getting 244whp on a Dynapack3000 and 224whp on Mainline AWD1500.

  • Nice im looking to go the all motor route. thanks for posting and keep it the good work!!

  • @racingminds nice

  • @racingminds not bad considering bone stock S2000 with no tuning at all run anywhere between 198-210 WHP. I'd say that was around 285-305 BHP! NICE!

  • @zeroswings2 Bone stock S2000's run 190 or less.

  • So what do you get at them wheels?
