But actually, its forecast to grow by .8% next year, so u can dream on. U dont have a choice bout reunification cause u will b in the minority in the 6 counties & de brits will pull out as agreed. @RichardElden P.S. Kevin barrys hanging was actually quite useful for Reps as it angered the irish people so much that we threw the Brits out of 26 of our 32 counties.
As 4 Bobby Sands sacrifice, this led directly 2 the political rise of Sinn Fein & resulted in the GFA, which means the brits will be gone from all 32 of our counties, just as soon as the demographics change, which they will for a mathamatical certainty. Most of the Irish I know who were born here were raised by families who never forgot who they are, why they are here, and what the left behind. Shame on you for trying to put division between people like that. The Irish are the only culture in the world that never forget who they are. God bless Ireland. I am English and as we remember WW1 and WW2, so the Irish have the right to remember their oppression so that it will never happen again. Ireland is a great country with wonderful people, may they always be free and may they forgive our past misdeeds as we regret them. If we pretend they never happened or don't matter then we are ready to commit them aagin. We should be better than that. This is why history is relevant and important.
