Gloria Estefan is a 'once in a generation' talent. One of the finest that the American Latina community ever produced. I think it has a lot to do with her upbringing. Love of family, respect for her father, hard work, talent....and some luck. She is one of the few celebrities that NO ONE can even THINK of a negative thing to say about her. God Gloria was great in her prime...she had it all...i can think of few entertainers that can light up a stage like her...her ballads are some of the best ever written....i never tire of her greatest hits cd...had it for years and still listen to it occasionally to remind me how awesome she was when she was at the top!

@roasthunter No, that's not her husband; it's one of the guys in Miami Sound Machine (I think his name is Jorge). Her husband had been in the original MSM in the early 80s, but sometime in the mid-80s he stopped performing in the band (maybe because he was also manager).

I remember this! I think I watched it on Betamax. That was almost 17 years ago but this particular version of the song still haunts me to this day. It really is beautiful, especially with the instrumentation and the solo.
