Great flying but at 55 seconds I would not of done a low high speed pass with a guy walking on the runway. But thats just me. Great sounding motor tho.
Yeah I actually didn't see that guy until the last minute that flight. Flies like a champ that plane. We are on the 3rd revision of the motor as of September 4th, 2011.
Thanks, I am looking at the Top Flite 85" kit, and was wondering how much largre the Bud Nosen one was. Thanks againg for your response. Gorgeous plane for sure...
that fucking thing is fast!!

I run a German design two stroke. in My P51.
It's a nasty engine than does not like half throttle.

I have a bud Nosen. P51 with an eight ft wing.
kit sucked on wood. But that's a Bud Nosen.kits are not made anymore.
If you can get a set of the prints of any Nosen Plane is a great build.
The prints today are worth more than the kit.
Still A great design and a great kit
24 inch prop and a 2 cycle engine.
it fly's better than a trainer in High wind altitude,
The plane of all planes. The radio will die before the air beast runs out of gas.

@4gavan you can find original bud nosen plans (in PDF format on a disc) on ebay.

What engine are you running in that!! AWSOME!!!

I am running a Precision Eagle Inline 3 Cylinder with Sachs 4.2 cylinders. The engine is 210cc with an estimated 24 horsepower. Its a monster.

Mines a two stoke with 24in prop.
More realistic.

WTF???
sure would like to know how you came up with that conclusion!!!

The Bud Nosen kit is when it comes to the wood in the box on 1/4 scale.
Bud Nosen took Guillows to the next level.
This was the least expensive for 1/4 scale P51
Still the best ever. Bud Nosen rules!
It was a very light design for a 1/4 scale kit
You would think it fly's like a trainer and it did.
