I saw the current Beach Boys Tour Band. They put on a fantastic show and everyone there had a great time, despite heavy rain. I wish Carl was still alive and that the band was together, but that's not the case. There are always rumors that Brian & Al will rejoin the other two (with David Marks, possibly) and perform together again. That would be interesting. However, Brian's role in that would be somewhat limited. He doesn't sing that well anymore, though he has come a long way recently.

@mdefil23 I would normally totally agree with you, as Brian Wilson was/is one of the most positive people on the planet. What Mike Love has done to the Beach Boys is a stain on this beautiful music. Suing Brian, badmouthing him, and touring around calling his sham "The Beach Boys". It makes this hard to swallow. As I said before, Carl is the only thing that redeems this version of the band, and now that he is regrettably no longer with us, Mike Love continues this charade and buries this music.

A VERY good lead vocal done by Carl here (the original was of course sung by his brother Brian who is not present in this particular line up). IMHO, since Carl died and Al left, the magic is gone.
