I am so grateful to see this video..He was my mentor and model for preaching. Our class (DMin) was one of the last classes he spoke to at Samuel D Proctor Sch of Theology at VUU. God Bless this giant of a preacher!
Wow! Dr. Jones in a few words, could say what it takes me and hour to say! He was a great preacher and a great mind! Thank you God for giving us the gift in Dr. Miles Jerome Jones!
I am so glad I was connected to this legend. He was my professor at the Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology. My father was a part of the late Dr. Miles Jones, the late Dr. Paul Nichols, the Late Dr. Darryl Rollins ...circle of friends. My father was out eating with Dr. Jones 36 years ago when I was born.
i miss dr. jones so much. he was such a blessing to the body of christ. deep in the Word, heralded in the academy, and loved in the local church. Rest well, my brother!!
