You guys probably are Assamese or Bengali or somehow language or blood related, I am Punjabi who served technically for 6 months in Guwahati and am in Love with my Manhee Land.
I enjoy Gujarati songs also though Gujus like Punjabi's are more capitalistic vs Assamese and Bengali's who are into culturistic.

I feel the same way. I grew up with my parents hearing these songs. We still listen to these songs when we take long drives. Timeless songs... so much good memories.... I can totally relate to ur feelings.
