But that doesn't mean he is Norwegian by background. Someone I know for example lived in Brazil his whole life. He speaks English and Portuguese, has a very nice accent, reads many Brazilian authors. But his last name is Wegener, a German surname, and he is blonde haired and blue eyed. Yes we all think of him as Brazilian, but just because he has a Brazilian lifestyle doesn't mean that's his origin. Same here.

Actually, he brought his grandfather on stage to perform with him and he spoke and sung Norwegian perfectly. I think it's safe to say that he's Norwegian, doesn't matter if his father is from Thailand or not.

His real name is Roy Sætre Khantatat, so that gives us another clue that he's Norwegian. Sætre is a typical Norwegian name.

Yeah, he's a great baritone. He also has this masculine, strong, but "hero" image which really supports Kamelot. I hope this band's popularity will rise greatly, because they deserve so much more respect than overrated mainstream beach-rock which all sounds the same, yet gets so much popularity.
