  • @CrazyKitten2047 its depends on if your in your splits or not. it makes it alot easier to get your 6 O' clock if you have your oversplits

  • @RunxDevilxRun yes there is otherwise we'd just call it the "stand on one leg with your other straight in the air like your doing the front splits but have both hands on the grond or holding the base leg" so we named it.

  • @angel765438 It is because you are more flexible in a different muscle than the muscle that you use for the splits. I am not able to put my foot behind my head but I can do my right and left splits... Does that make more sense.? :)

  • @polishbloo if you're trying to achieve a full 6 o'clock, having your oversplits makes it easier but you don't have to start out with a perfect line. get your leg up as far as you can and have someone stretch it and in time you'll achieve the 6 o'clock :)

  • well, any time similar to vertical line, its accepted, always control and very important, DISCIPLINE.

  • you can do the against a wall so the back of your leg on the floor is against the wall

  • this helps with splits, kicks leaps and leg extensions. I do this with my friend a lot and it really helps!

  • If you don't have a partner, try doing it against a wall, it helped me do it (y)

  • Having a partner is the best method for sure, but if you don't, try the proflex stretch. You can also measure your flexibility when using it.

    I've gone to places that call it a pencil too though.
