Pompey deserved the title 'the great', he had won many victories in africa, celebrated for defeating spartacus (fair point crassus did most of the work) and at pharsalus it was thought that he had an illness, so people have argued that he was not at 100% during the civil war against caesar

On another what if note, what if Julius Caesar never existed or never became the most powerful man in Rome? A simple scenario would be that Pompey would be the most powerful man in Rome with no one in his way.

Pompey was a bigger man than a man who just fought Caesar. I have read about his campaigns in Pontus, Armenia and Persia. He won magnificent victories and was a master of warfare. Caesar however, was better :)

Would you be able to do Hannibal Barca of Carthage vs King Pyrrhus of the Seleucid Empire? They never fought and both armies use very similar units, so I think it would be a close, exciting battle.

Another Idea would be Ptolemy the first using Egyptian forces versus Antigonus using Macedonian forces. Two of Alexander's generals against each other would be awesome too.

When you are creating an army, you can choose 3 upgrades

The sword, wich increases you attack

The shield, wich increases your defense

And there is one with the sergent symbol that I don't know what it does

@RuiGomes43 the chevron (aka sergeant symbol) is an upgrade which improves the units experience. exp increases hitpoints and morale and wut not. though pom has said its just better to upgrade ur attack and defence in rome rather than exp. however in empire, napoleon there is only exp upgrades

I would say so as you lost quite a bit of men and (in terms of campaigns, I know this is just a single battle) Antiochus would still have enough troops to re-rally and create a new army. Also, the Romans were masters of replenishing their losses. The Hellenistic kingdoms were not so blessed.
