  • i was very superficial 1st time i heard Chopin's music and went through it very fast.. until today.

    I love it.

  • in 21 C Minor

  • Can someone tell me which number and which op. is the nocturne?

  • @TheKorpin op 72 no 2

  • I love Chopin beautiful ....

  • wonderful and beautiful!

  • This piece isn't as easy to play as it sounds. It took awhile to get the finer points right. If you guy's want to meet girl's, find a place in the mall where they have piano's and if possible, sit down and play a piece like this one. It draws them like a magnet. Great ice breaker.

  • Just exquisite..

  • it's the best song forever

  • goosebumps

  • this is soo peacefull i always listen to this and remember good times in my life :)

  • What a marvelous piece of work!

    LOVE IT

  • Where is the rest of the piece?

  • @ImmortalSpecies on board of the titanic

  • @klausknulp Hehe :). Although I really like the C part, sad and intense.

  • @klausknulp What? Really?

  • its amaizing

  • Don't laugh, but i ask...: why does this song make me cry? why does it make me think only about what matters in my life?

  • what is this song called? can i get a higher quality version?

  • @Persian5life: Nocturne No.20 in C sharp :)

  • Adoro esto♥

  • I love this video. THe scenes have very little to do with the music, but overall quite evocative.

  • lol losing my virginity wasn't this sad. this is more like reflecting back on a memory. a sad, dark past that helped you grow. perhaps a failed relationship that was still beautiful while it lasted. that's what i hear

  • I just posted my interpretation of Nocturne opus 9 ,No.2. I would appreciate your comments. Please click on my link 'alfonsopablo' next to this comment to listen.

  • This was in The Pianist right?

  • It ALWAYS BEST Classics, this beginning of all directions in modern Music... I love This BEGINNING !!!

  • As Vivaldi created godlike pieces for the violin, Chopin composed the most breathtaking pieces for the piano.

  • Please listen to my version of this piece.

  • I cry as I listen to this. In the process of learning

  • @TheTrebledSoul It's a nocturne.

  • Hi... Can you please give me specifics?

What Op. and No. is this? Is this a Nocturne?... A Mazurkas?.... Etude?....Waltz?...Prelude?... Scherzos? The reason I ask is because I cannot find it anywhere... It's a lovely piece.... Plz & Thnk You

  • @TheTrebledSoul Chopin nocturne no. 20

  • The whole music clearly expresses its solemness. I can't help but start tearing in my heart with it. :D Wonderful composition! A sense of joy overwhelms at the ending part of the music, giving it a meaning from sadness to joy. Great work, Chopin! :D

  • This is in The Pianist movie.. aww so great!!!

  • You didnt play the hardest part which was the last page. Good job though:)

  • if u like chopin, then u will also like jay chou. chopin reincarnated.

  • beautiful music and video! *****

  • Amazing !!!

  • i have no talent in music, i cant sing,i cant play..but by god..this music gives me so many emotions.im crying and im smiling..this is like losing my virginity again.

  • @tyger0603 probably there is another view depending what talent could be. i think talent is if music can touch your heart!

  • @klausknulp well to do that you gotta sing or play an instrument. That i cannot

  • @klausknulp although i wish it was like that, i highly doubt that.

  • @tyger0603 I agree, I feel the same!

  • @tyger0603 Because u don't know the bars man!Once I learned the notes it sounds way opposite actually bad.

My Hebrew knows what's and it's magic.

  • @tyger0603 Because u don't know the bars man!Once I learned the notes it sounds way opposite actually bad.

My Hebrew knows what's and it's magic. It's playing the publics self.

  • @tyger0603 faggot lollll

  • @tyger0603 eeeeewwwww

  • @KARMICKAMIKAZE never lost your virginity yet i presume?

    trust me.this is that good.

  • @KARMICKAMIKAZE i'm smart enough to know that by interjecting your statement with a rude and ubrupt tone would only lead to you believe that i was in fact a virgin. But my theories on the matter are that your first sexual encounter was so bad that you could believe that a simple song no matter the magnitude could even come close to the miracle that is sex. Theres nothing more magical than sex nothing.

  • @KARMICKAMIKAZE <---three year old?

  • @tyger0603 Losing your virginity is overrated by our society.

  • @tyger0603 cool

Ecuador.

  • @jesus777754 english please?

  • @tyger0603 Jesus777754 is saying how he also has no musical talent, but he felt the most amazing emotions while listening to this.

  • like someone said in another video "chopin makes dreaming easy"

  • yeah those women are doing exactly what they should be doing but why arent any of them in the kitchen love the song by the way

  • Too good! And yeah music used have that splendid effect on people. Glad many still love this.

  • absolutely stunning. hearing this gives you faith not only in yourself, but in the world. music nowadays might not be as strong, as beautiful, as overwhelming, but we can still hope for better.

  • That's Music !

  • What is the official name of this piece? Is it just Nocturne op posthum? I can't seem to find it anywhere else...

  • @brendantellsall Chopin Nocturne no.20

  • @berra1432 Oh okay, found it! Thanks (:

  • Does somebody know the full name of this Nocturne? Like "Nocturne #1 In B Flat Minor, Op. 9/1"??

  • @isiinai Nocturne in C sharp minor, Op. posthumous.

  • @HerlockSholmes123 Thanks a lot! :)

  • The video reminds me of a Van Gogh painting and the music is sublime. Thank you.

  • 119 people have never expierienced anything in life

  • inbetween my nihilistic tendencies i feel in my meaningless existence, chopin reminds me that love is really the only thing that matters in life...

  • @iamjd32 believe me your existence is not meaningsless. if you love chopin music, it is necessary for the music that somebody loves it. imagine no one would ever listen chopin music before. does it exist than?

  • @klausknulp you know, of course you're right.. but I tell you this - sometimes, when I listen to Chopin I develop a sense that his music would exist even without the audience.. so divine, so ABSOLUTE.....makes me speechless... I think you know what I mean....

  • @iamjd32 "Place the flame from a candle under the testicles of a nihilist and notice how quickly he sees the light of existence." :D

  • @HerlockSholmes123 Sure. Which is why I said nihilistic "tendencies" and not nihilistic "life" period. :D

  • @iamjd32 that is correct !

  • @iamjd32

If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark. Dark would be without meaning.

  • nasz Szopen

  • okay I rarely ask this but thumbs up if you're under 20 years old

  • Can you please say from where is this video? I mean women work. Please reply

  • @javidsuleymanli all is made in Poland

  • @klausknulp I know, I want to know from which movie or other stuff is this video?

  • @javidsuleymanli In every country, women working sounds the same.

  • Can I have a link of a clearer version of this exact piece?

  • @sifantid me too pls

  • 119 are completely deaf!

  • that was the most peaceful music i have ever heared!!!!

  • @kakiaxD thank you

  • I am a man of war but this music is a peace bringer. Stops me dead in my tracks no matter how i feel and it always soothes my soul!

  • You can't beat the sound that is Chopin. It's timeless.

  • this song blows....its all piano!

  • so simple, so smooth... no extra note, and yet no missing emotion..pure perfecton, and sheer divinity!

  • A Special World A special world for you and me A special bond one cannot see It wraps us up in its cocoon And holds us fiercely in its womb. Its fingers spread like fine spun gold Gently nestling us to the fold Like silken thread it holds us fast Bonds like this are meant to last. And though at times a thread may break A new one forms in its wake To bind us closer and keep us strong In a special world, where we belong.

  • 117 people were dreaming about playing this music so they slipped away with the mouse and hit the unlike button.

  • @kkkkkooooosssss the raison of many unlike buttons is that there at least 2 people who would like to make something bad to me (without succeed)

  • @klausknulp .........WTF.

  • @kkkkkooooosssss I don't like it because:

    1. There's no name of the interpreter (even if I guess he's Arrau)

    2. The video is not appropriated

    3. IT DOESN'T START FROM THE BEGINNING (the real nocturne starts with several chords, not with the trills)

  • @DafniElissa

That's true ;P. But the reason i like it is that it's played so beautiful and whit passion. I think that's the most important of a song. It's right that it's a big mistake to don't start from the beginning. But compliments of klausknulp. :P

  • from where did you take this video? (i mean the vision)

  • I feel this music in my body :)

  • Dzięki Chopinowi jestem cholernie dumna, że jestem Polką.

  • I remember when I was playing it on the 5th year of my music school. I was 11 then, but I still love it...

  • Divine!

Another proof that God created man.

  • @naesebi Not really. Just proves how versatile and intelligent mankind is in order to create such great music. Saying 'proves god exists' to anything wonderful in nature and music etc. is flawed

  • I'm trying to play this.

    touching

  • This is actually in my piano program, for my final exam, with revolutionary etude, Beethoven`s sonata in f-minor, and an invention. Im a different person while playing it, it creates happiness in my soul hard to imagine lol, i suggest to everyone who like it to try to learn it, you will enjoy in it 2x than listening to it, beautiful..

  • maravillosa musica ...esta musica nos transporta

  • How could you upload this without giving the exact title (Nocturne Op #2 in C sharp minor), and why is the beginning and end missing ?!

You actually killed the song and left one third out!!!!!!!!

I'm playing the piano myself, and I'm a Chopin lover ^_^ - so really... this is just unacceptable from my point of view....

  • what is the exact name if this piece? :p i meant these are sort of series right?

  • @zombiegrudgegeirl

    It's Chopin's Nocturne Post Op in C#

  • Thanks

  • "Daha doze bilmirem Zaur !"

  • hëy_I_fEel_sØ_lØÑèly_töDåy

  • 113 are crazy

  • I'm dedicating this wondrous music to all the highly sensitive, to all the magnificent people that resigned in their solitude, to... all the true men. This is a melody pertaining to the beautiful minds, the most beautiful minds.

  • @iughioo thank you so much! you made my day!

    Lara

  • @klausknulp Make that three ;)

  • @skatertubbs something tells me that no only you will HAVE to, but you will like ot play this masterpiece. Good luck!

  • Crimen Sollicitationis

  • Wow, this piece of music made my eyes watery; I can feel my teardrops in my face and I am not an easy crier at all. I may look distant and cold, but I don't deny my wonderful emotions. The good thing is that with this amazing, poetic music, I can be vulnerable, feel the love and feel whatever I want and fantasize whatever I please and not have nobody telling me to not do so. This piece of music sets me entirely free and it gives me positive energy. Music nowadays no longer has originality.

  • ;;)) Thank You !!!!

  • mas que bello

  • poland we love you!

  • Enchanting music. But the popuptext "Do you want play like this?" Sounds more like the translation of the instructions manual of a korean washing machine or like certain advertising addressed favourably to men flooding the internet.

  • Comment removed

  • o its very beautiful

  • fuzzybird89 @ regarding this nocturne chopin suffered because of the situation in poland that time (civil war).

  • @klausknulp It wasnt civil war. Germany Russia and Austria divided Poland. Im dont remeber when he wrote it but it could be after lost of February uprising in 1864

  • @niepamietamjuz your are right. poland wanted to become free. basically they have fight vs russia

  • @niepamietamjuz

Chopin died in 1849 so he couldn't write it in 1864:)

  • I wish I heard how Chopin himself would have interprated it :D He had a girl on his mind though :p

  • Takie swojskie nasze polskie .

    Piękne!!!

  • Porque tu eres toda mi fantasía,

    y sólo puedo recordarte así;

    (j.m.moreno "Nocturnos").

  • I was like, hey this is pretty good, but when I found out it was Clayderman, it begain to sound like islamic prayer rituals.
