The intermission was BEFORE that stupi video begins. I can't remember exactly why they sent both teams in their locker rooms I think it was a broken glass and they decided to repair it during the intermission to lose less time. They did this at an Avs/Devils game I went to back in 2000. Peter Forsberg scored with about 17 seconds left in the 2nd period, but the call on the ice was no goal.  They finished out the period and reviewed the play during intermission. Ended up calling it a goal, so they replayed the final seconds of the 2nd period and then started the 3rd.

the answer to all the "why did they do that??"

pretty simple, at 11.1 sec in the first period, a player shotted in the glass behind the goal, and it broke. Instead of waiting 15minutes for it to be replaced and then play 11.1 sec and go for the intermission. they just went to the intermission while they were replacing the glass and then play the remaining 11.1 sec
