  • super Bennet l originale explosif du tonnere !

  • I own a beverley drums by Premier with ZYN cymbals . on this time Premier was a very good brand .most of english famous bands were using Premier ... then came Japan

  • "brian bennetBrian Bennet is the long standing drummer with The Shadows.

When he was 13 years old he bought a White Olympic snare drum a stand and a pair of brushes. That was all he could afford at the time until he later played on a Premier kit." that's what they write on vintage olympic UK . i saw him too on a video playing gretsch on a TV show

  • Further to my post a few minutes ago, I Googled "Trixon Drums Brian Bennett", and come across a Trixon website. It confirmed not only that Brian played Trixon drums in 1961-62, but also that he recorded Little B on them.

  • Those Olympic drums are from the late '70s or early '80s Olympic, not the '60s.

  • A great and powerful drum solo from one of the great shadows drummers "Brian Bennett" (1962 - till present) .. (Tony Meehan 1958 - 1962) first Drummer R.I.P

  • Great great drum solo .often overlooked is Brian .but im sure all the GOOD drummers listen , the rest of the band are not bad either (LOL)

  • inspirational stuff

  • Brian is the master and the best

  • Brian played little b on his Ludwig set of drums

  • @shadogie59 Really? I thought he used Premier drums. Would love to watch the original video of Little B as he played it in the 60s

  • If you play Wonderful Land on the Rudi Carell Show from April 1962, you'll see that Brian wasn't playing Premier or Ludwig back then. You'll see stills of that drumkit if you Google for images of Brian. My guess is that it's a Trixon kit.

Brian did play Premier drums for at least part of the 1980s. However, most photographs of him over the years do show him playing Ludwigs.

Little B was recorded in May 1962. Whether that was on the Trixons, if that's what they were, I have no idea.
