Im so happy for her that she is doing well now. I was just told i have close to the same thing and the video was a blessing to me... Being that i am my only family here its nice to see from front to back what to expect... Thanks again and blessing to you and your family!
my 8 year old son had an echo 2 months ago that was supposedly normal....after continued chest pain and now new symptoms i decided to take him to the mayo clinic......they did another echo and found this anomaly.....thank god...he is now scheduled for open heart surgery at the mayo clinic to correct this and live his normal active life again
Wow this is amazing to have found this video Anomalous Origin of the Right Coronary Artery...our 8 year old son is a very athletic little boy and he too started to have symptoms that started with headaches. he eventally was found to have an irregular heartbeat and an abnormal ekg which lead to an abnormal holter monitor...they placed him on b blockers and then he continued to have chest pain which lead me to taking him to the mayo clinic...they did a 2nd echo and found this anomaly
Thank you so much for sharing your story. It's truly inspiring. What a tremendously brave girl!!! My thoughts and prayers for safe and speedy 100% recovery. <3
Marki played in her first soccer game exactly 8 weeks to the day after having her surgery. She play approx 45 mins total, scored one goal and had one assist. Wow. She still has a ways to go to build her stamina and speed. But - so far so good.
Weird, I had pretty much the same open heart surgury on the same day as you. I was a college athlete as well, and until this was playing semi pro lacrosse. So far its been just over a month into recovery and feel amazing. Im itching to get back into the gym as well as back on the feild. Hows your recovery going?
Marki is going great. The doctors told us that being young and healthy makes all the difference in rehab. We expect her to be released to full activites in a couple of weeks.
