For some reason my MGO wont start. i select "metal gear online" from the mgs4 main menu. and it just goes right back to the playstation dashboard. it shouldn't be updating because it's been doing this for a couple days. and i havent gotten the chance to ever play it yet DX help.

@dylad try to contact mgo customer support or maybe its just a bug in your disk first try to get online help if not its safe to assume that its a disk problem and if you really like mgo try buying the game again where I live its very cheap only about 20 bucks but thats just my opinion

you have to check if the match has Personal Stats(the kills you earn in the game) if it doesnt have Personal Stats then the kills in the game dont count as kills.

try making a uk psn account then buy a uk psn card to add money to the psn wallet and then buy the expansions using the mgo psn in the mgo menu.

From what I understand, depending on which version of Metal gear Online you buy, you will be assigned to that server. Say you buy the Metal Gear Online standalone version of Japan, you will only connect to the Japanese servers, but depending on your PS3 system language, the game text and voices will be in that language you'll just be in different servers.

But Shotgun is pretty noob... it's a two shot kill, with the first shot knocking the other guy down and stunning him for a second. By the time he gets a chance to take another shot, the shotgunner can just shot him anywhere and it'll be a kill. AA is pretty noob too, considering it does the aiming for you and you just have to hold R1.
