  • Vocals are so good that I even wonder if they were all live :P

  • i adore it with berny show

  • i like it

  • Love this song, love the melody... everything just clicks!

  • This group whenever you sing this song, lose some time for it, right-so, but that's twice as rejuvenated as they sang it live, and some 4 x

    younger than themselves.POZDRAV IZ BANJALUKE.

  • tive o disco da capa azul com um super sonico

  • obviously it's a Mick Box on the guitar.

  • @Medogonsama Really? No joke? Thanks for sharing.

  • This sounds great! Byron was hard to take for me in concert. I saw him twice back in the day. He screwed around too much in concert and didn't deliver anywhere like on the albums.

  • is there Jerry Lynn on guitar???))))

  • This sounds so amazingly good i almost doubt it's 100% live, the guys look the part as well :)

  • awesome

  • This is fucking awesome

  • Отличная музыка... слушая Оззи и тп никак не мог расслушать uriah heep , sunrise -отлично!!!

  • Dio faces...

  • Bernie can't be David Byron. That would be a betrayal not only of Byron but of Bernie himself. All he can do is be a Byron-influenced, authentic Bernie. At this task he has excelled. Who among us could ever do better?

  • Byron would be proud!

  • great music...brings back memories..

  • great music..

  • I know full well that David Byron was a FANTASTIC singer, however, this singer is just AMAZING! I've just listened about a dozen times to the ending of the song where he is hitting all those high notes.Chills and goosebumps, Great job!

  • love it

  • One of the songs I truly missed when they just played at Glassheim, in Jevnaker, Norway... A really nice intimate concert, with Uriah Heep at it's peak of performance!! Keep on Heeping \m/

  • He ain't no David Byron......but he fakes it well.

  • tolles video-toller heep song....

  • Lead singer has an amazing voice for his age.

  • ANDA A LAVARTE EL CULO VOCALISTA CHARCHA

  • What an unsually clear, clean voice he has, you can hear every word perfectly, with a great clear range. Very unique voice, the best version of this song, my opinion......

  • Back to when all the music took place...

  • dont know who this vocalist is but the band reacts good in my opinion

  • how can i not lovin Uriah Heep????

  • Thanks for posting this, I just saw them in Atlanta last Tues, it was awesome!

  • long live the seventies

  • One of my favorite Heep songs!

  • This singer sounds better than the original. He presents himself and interprets this song so well.

  • Great to see they haven't lost it in this later video. A really good metal band from my school days etc.

  • que som hein!!!!!!!!!! e o cara ainda canta pacas. te cuida david coverdale.

  • nobody and i mean nobody can get away with white dots shirt like that if you are not a rock legend !!!

  • This is the kind of music I like the most from Uriah heep. The upbeat catchy stuff. That, and there Epic slow song's like July morning.Long live Uriah heep!

  • I would have lovedto see them but the cost was too great for me to travel to any of thier shows. They were a long way from Christchurch, NZ and we had very little to know about them at all. I have been a fan since 1971 and have a few songs of theirs.

  • they will be doing a USA tour in 2011.

  • @scottdarts1

us sucks with music you dont deserve to listen to good music

  • @larawora there is plenty of good U.S. music as there is anywhere, so you can keep your mouth shut...

i looked at you channle. your a black metal guy huh? how many black metal artists do you think were influenced by slayer hmm? well geuss what? slayer is from the us. infact COF does a cover of hell awaits by slayer

  • @o0LanternLight0o

you know what you right im love black metal but im also classic rock guy im mean im love the battles and im love uriah heep led zeppelin deep purple and yes of course there's perfect american rock bands sure they not have the same style of the english rock but still there's from every countrey there's at least one good band

  • Harry Enfield on bass?

  • This is a great, great song, and Heep just nails it here. Beautiful and powerful is right... Wow!

  • Is this the origional band? Anyway they don't sound any different from that 70's decade this just blows me away!!!

  • @puggti306 It's due to the song, a powerful 70's hit which remains strong nowadays. And also to the band: Uriah has been sometimes good and sometimes exquisite.

  • Awesome.

  • they are in june of this year

  • Just saw them yesterday in Switzerland! It was amazing, Bernie invited some people to come on stage to do some headbangs. So nice!

  • @imberbs Is there any place on this damn internet where I can find out if they are coming to Serbia or some country nearby, Uriah really is the band of my youth among few EX-YU bands, and I would really love to see them live.

  • Great preformance..... and excellent vocals !!!! Guess they compeeted with Deep Purple.... and did not got so popular..... :)

  • Bless the Sun!!!

  • I wish they would come my way again. I saw them in the 70s and again ten years ago. Still a show worth going to!

  • POLKA DOTS....MICRO DOTS............OMG!!!!!!!!

  • Surely John Lawton put the spark back in to Uriah Heep, he,s untouchable when it comes to music. For all the singers Heep,s had they all been great in the memories will live on

  • Comment removed

  • The singer looks a lot like Golem.

  • ok,,excelent,,,,nice here,,PERU-CARAJO.,,,

  • Great version. Can't wait to see them this summer when they come to the states.

  • Gotta hand it to Shaw, being a Byron fan most of all, he does an amazing job w/o being a clone and has a long history with the band and a great sound and voice all his own. No slight to Lawton and the singers between Byron and Shaw but I wonder how their career might have faired if they went right into Shaw after Byron or perhaps Lawton and then to Shaw. Yeah yeah, I know Abominog...just ranting...how 'bout more people need to hear MORE of this band's catalog outside of Easy Living sheesh

  • Heard ya from the start, and this was one fine (much) later rendition. I'm writing this from the 21st century.

  • I became acquainted with Heep back in 1975. I was 15 and was about all I listened to -- on 8-track and LP. Got to see them in Memphis in 1982 (I think) in a very small room. It was wonderful.

  • Wonderful lyrics

  • Watching these men in 2007 was first time I have ever seen the drummer leave the stage part way thru a set to have a dump .Well in Mr Kerslake

  • Not bad Berni. Its a long way from the drum corp, jamming with John Carter, or hanging out by the creek behind Oak Bay High. It must be fun doing that job( what you love) rather than punching a clock.

  • You have to be kidding. These guys are bombastic blowhards that were dated by the time the came out. They are the inspiration for Spinal Tap!!

  • Listening to this brings back so much( partial) memorys .

  • except the sunrise and you..,

  • One of the best band ever. Incredible songwriting, and the most amazing bass player (RIP Gary Thain). 1973 Uriah Heep live is the best live album ever.

  • RememberDavid Byron...

  • are they still performing ?

  • @notlrachtron Of course. They will visit my country this year. I can't wait to see them live!

  • My favourite vocalist of Uriah Heep. There is a kind of magic in his voice!

  • they are nice guys with great music - we where cooking for them .and matthias had much fun on tour - keep on roling!!!!!

  • this is modern day poetry,,

  • Portugal presente por mim. AMO com grande saudade este grupo. :)

Portugal there for me. LOVE this group with great nostalgia. :)

  • I did not know that I would see a polka dot vest today...or this week. .or this month.... or this year. Few can get away with that. Great vocals!

  • What else is cool about concerts from 70's bands...it is the only kind of concert where it is totally legal to smoke pot.(google it!!!) Otherwise 98% of the audience will be lost. THOSE were the days.

  • I bought this record at a thrift store because of the awesome cover. The album sure lives up to its cover art, that's for sure.

  • 40 people will never see the sunrise

  • I saw them back in the 70's a few times, one time with Paul Butterfields Blues Band And Manfred Mann it was a great show. Lee Kerslake is one of my favorite Drummers. HEEP Kicks Ass !

  • my fathers song

  • O roqueiro não envelhece.

  • THEY SOUND GREAT! JUST LIKE IN 70'S!!!!!!!!! GREAT URIAH HEEP!

  • @SpringlsBACK its from "The Legend Continues" DVD from 2001 :-)

  • Mick box lee kerslake? any other original members? circa demons....

  • Can someone tell me which DVD this is on? I have The Magicians Birthday Party and Acoustically Driven DVD's & the sound quality on both is excellent. A few days ago I played a couple songs off those DVDs for a young friend who's never heard / seen Heep B4, and he declared them the best live band he'd ever seen on DVD. :-)

  • I'm a Gen Y. thanks to my father, I got to know these magic existed.

    music nowadays sucks,

and I blame it on MTV.

it keep playing on some craps, usually only for money.

it feels like musicians nowadays don't care about making good, real music,

    only fast cash.

    sucks.

  • Legends by all means

  • What Hensley did with a few simple chords, an acute sense of melody and a profound lyric was (and still is) genuinely amazing.

  • Such a voice, why isn't this guy better known?

  • That kind of music's just too perfect to be forgotten ! All this rap thing is just an insult to THAT !

  • classic heep.

  • Couples of thumbs up for the bass line and the ole musical lines

  • Amazing Bass line thumbs up if you agree

  • @RubenGardiner Trevor Bolder...amazing bassist.

  • @lerxst990 thanks man im gonna search more about this guy

  • I need this show! Does anybody know where I can find it? Is there a DVD of this show?

  • @ViniVinagre yes,this show is on dvd.i got it;)

  • Great band, great song,

reminds me of Iron Maiden, idk why... :)

  • This singer can't clean shoes to the late David Byron

  • no musical genius as Ken Hensley on todays music scene. I wish there was, but it's just impossible to find one ... cuz there aren't any ...

all we have is beautiful memory on true beautiful and powerful music such as heep and all those 70's bands

  • @imiocic if u truly believe that there are not any musical genius in todays scene your not looking hard enough in my opinion, if u like uriah heep then you should look into euro metal such as blind guardian, and demons and wizards, very powerful bands.

  • @BlargMan100

hell yeah blind guardian, going to see them live in two weeks! but they aren't so young, they started like 25 years ago so ... they ARE amazing, but not new on scene

  • @imiocic gde ides da ih gledas? U BG?

  • @zlizivorad

  • @zlizivorad

    @imiocic

raspisali se vi ,a ? XD

  • @NMvex @zlizivorad @imiocic momci, (ili bar duhom :) ) je l' znate vi hoce li biti nesto po okruzenju?

  • @imiocic MICHAEL TSARION IS THE WORLDS PREMIER CONSPIRACY RESEARCHER/LECTURER/AUTHOR. DR. BILL DEAGLE, LEO ZAGAMI, JORDAN MAXWELL AND ALEXANDRE DUMAS PERE ARE HIGHLY INFORMATIVE AS WELL. ALEXANDRE DUMAS PERE WROTE OVER 400 HISTORICAL NOVELS EXPOSING WORLD TYRANNY(ROMAN CATHOLIC EMPIRE).
