Stacy recorded this song in 1989 on her "Take Me All The Way" album. Brenda K. Star was the first to record "Love Me Like The First Time". But Stacy Lattisaw version is better style. @mod1217  Just a follow up - when the singer hits the highest note, the timbre again is different from Brenda's rendition which sounded pinched, while this one is brilliant and easy. The pitch of the song, of any song, can be raised up or down a note or half note by the modern synthesizers now when editing the song before making the master copy. I'm sure many of us knows that.
