  • Thanks for the review, might be picking one of these up tomorrow =).

  • I just got a brand new one of these, I love it

  • Got the 4 string one an i find it awesome. Cant decide whether to get the 5 string one because i need a 5 string bass. Any suggestions?

  • @MetalManMac i have one of these also, u should get one they have great playability and the stock pickups sound good fr the price

  • @killakanedaklown k thanks, i am also looking at a schecter omen 5. but this is still an option.

  • Did you experience much noise with this bass? I've also got one, but the amount of noise is driving me crazy, especially when turning the HF EQ up.

  • What's the point of having that entire rack just for the Little Mark...

  • i saw this one for 330 euro's ( european money)

  • do you know what dimension of the pickup?

  • What strings do you have on it?

  • you know paul Gary used an Ibanez

  • @217hman Yeah but not a bottom-of-the-line model

  • i love Ibanez

  • Mark bass man best fucking amps ever some expensive shit

  • @warwickbass94dude how are the lows on here? and how does it handle tunings like a c?

  • witch amp are you using.

  • hey, i am going to start playing a 5 string bass and car't decide between this bass and the Squier Deluxe Jazz Bass V Active 5 string. has anyone got any views on wich one is the best.

  • @ashmetalthebest 2 words

    FENDER.SUCKS.

  • @tallestfinder well it depends what fender you have tho

  • These is weary good base!! I bought it one weak ago and I just love it!!!

  • i just bought this exact same bass, same color too!..i got it for $215....$227 out the door,,,there was a sale. and they marked it wrong!..it was supposed to be $279 marked down from $349...I love this bass!!!

  • Cool. This bass rocks (and what a price), and so do you, man. I'm almost about to go get one as my first five-string. Rock on!

  • wat song r u playin in the beginning?

  • i have this bass and im sorry but i hate it. there is so much rattle and the A string is just awful. there is so much rattle i just dont even bother to play it. i cant wait until i get my new schecter stilleto studio 5.

  • i dont care about tone knobs, i dont care about on board eq's. all i want is just a volumn nob and a pickup switch.

  • is this in "iron pewter"

  • Congrats niiiiiice rig!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • u need to turn down your low mid dude its way to loud

  • i was thinking about getting this bass, so is it good for playing korn (loads of heavy slapping)?

  • @MattSmith166 Fieldy uses ibanez a lot bit not a SR-305

  • @sic742617OOOO27sic no but it is the sr body style

  • @MattSmith166 ibanez's are great for playing korn, if it has active pickups and 5 strings you should be able to get a good sound out of it. also, fieldy use's the ibanez k5 which is an amazing bass (i got one recently lol)

  • @MattSmith166 I have the SR305 and I play a lot of korn. I think that you can get a great "korn" sound out of it, it's crazy easy to play and with a good setup you can get a great sound out of it.

  • Great video dude! I just bought this bass today and I am quite impressed with it, not too costly for the performance you get.

  • great demo vid! that said, I ended up taking that bass back....I thought the B string was weak and it was hard to get an even tone across the board. That was a 2008 model. If anyone's wondering, I think it's well worth the extra money to get the next model up (sr405qm) or the 505 is killer if you can afford it!

  • Thank you so much for that demo! I was just checking out a Sr305 at the Music Center and it had me Drooling! Definitely going to pick it up with my next tax return check! That's a sweet stack you've got there! I take it you're a professional Bass Player?

  • Do you know of anyone who has strung this particular model EADGC? If so how well does the neck handle the tension?

  • I tried the 4 string version to check the sound, and I just love the feel and tone I got with it:D Not to mention it makes fingerpicking way easier for some strange reason

  • what price are those goin for?

  • @MrAllrounder77 on guitar center its like 349 i think. But its supposed to be like a 500 or 600 dollar bass

  • I think slap is for fingering but finger mode is for slapp'in = ="

  • @zyaquieez Yah me too! I want that klicky sound like fieldy so I often slap with the fingermode on, sounds much more badass!

  • Nice vid! I have the SR305M (maple fingerboard) and love it. It feels great and has a nice thin neck which makes fast play easy.

  • I just went to Guitar Center today and tried this bass out and WOAH!! I loved the feel. It's slim and smaller neck compared to my Schecter Stilleto Studio 5. Im purchasing a used one in the coming week.

  • i got this bass but it is soo rattly... and i raised the action on the bridge and still fret buzz:(

  • @MendingSilence See if the frets have raised from where they are supposed to be. Try using a hammer to SOFTLY tap the frets down to resting flush with the fretbaord. Also, make sure the truss rod is straight. If you dont know what you are doing take it to a professional. Also you might have to adjust the neck angle of the bass where it bolts onto the body. It could also be that the nut is cut too low (if only open strings buzz. Your best bet is to get it looked at by a pro.

  • @MendingSilence adjust your truss rod and that should solve your problem yo

  • Comment removed

  • @MendingSilence i tested the same model twice...there wasnt any fret buzz

  • @MendingSilence check the truss rod. nd if the action lowers by itself. put paper between the saddles. i had the problem bt i fixed it by doing tht

  • does this guitar has an extra low string or a high string?

  • @Erithlon 5 strings are just an extra low string added on, but u cud tune it up to high c if u wanted and turn the 5th into the E instead of B

  • one question:

ive heard that the B string on many ibanez basses is pretty loose and wobbly, is the B string on this bass all right?

  • @WhamAndRun the b string is knid of loose. but the neck is a long scale neck so its not too bad. im using the standard 130 gauge string. Compared to other basses its normal. No bass has a B string as tight as, say, a D or G string.

  • @WhamAndRun You could go with a 35" neck such as there is on BTB 5 string and 6 string basses, I myself use a BTB tuned G-C-F and so on and I had never problems with the B string being loose

  • thx for the review =)

  • i want one for gigs. tired of taking my expensive ass basses to shows to get all stinky like cig smoke. these sr-305's are badass!!!!! cool bro .
