@TheBdizzleWong I was going for Cung Le but you have to admit, he was out of shape and he's past his prime time as well. He wasted so much energy on his kicks throughout 2 rounds. Reason why Cung Le is one of my favorite fighters is because he fights in such a unique way and he provides new elements to the world of MMA. MMA gets dull when the backgrounds of fighters are overflooded with Muay Thai/Kickboxing and BJJ/Greco-Roman Wrestling. Guys like Le gets rid of that dullness.

Cung Le is one of my favorite fighters but there is a time when you have to see things in realistic view. On top of that, even if Cung were to go for a takedown, Wanderlei sprawled his legs well and started hammerfisting Le, which puts Le is severe disadvantage. Get real. Even if this were to go to the ground game, Le would've been seriously fucked.

Cung Le put up a good fight but Wanderlei had the better of it. And it was a good stoppage. Only reason why Cung Le closed in and held Wanderlei's legs is because he wanted to close the distance to prevent getting kneed more in his face. What I noticed from this match was, Cung Le wasted LOT of his energy on his kicks and also, he was out of shape compared to his prime time. I think Wanderlei planned this and just wandered around till he figured le was running tired and then attack.

Wanderlei silva is one of the fightrs I've always liked to watch sucks he join the ufc when he was passed his prime....he was a beast in his prime loved watching him in pride...but he has some fight in him but for the most part he's gassed out....

@JUKEBOXX1990 If it was a bad stoppage I would have been the first one to admit it. However, if you look carefully at the ending of the fight, Cung was in some deep trouble. The reason the ref stopped it was cause' Cung Le just was not fighting back. If you don't fight back the ref has no choice but to stop the fight to prevent serious injury to the fighter. I respect Cung Le, however, I think he will have a very difficult time in the UFC. I hope he does come back though!
