This reaffirms my idea that the people running MSNBC really don't know anything about us. At all. And "No New Taxes" was not our goal. We wanted a more responsible government. But historically, every time taxes go up, so does the deficit. When there's more federal revenue coming in, politicians start new programs and pork projects with the mentality that there's more than enough money to cover it, instead of putting it towards programs that already exist.
