its not a 1.2v battery, there are 7 cells and each cell is 1.2v, 7x1.2=8.4, its an 8.4v NICD battery, not a 1.2v, common mistake

@Usmc4meInAyear Are you sure you hooked your fuse up correctly? The metal contacts have to be, well... connected for it to run. If this is not the case, you're wiring and/or motor contacts might be off, so try adjusting the motor from the bottom of the pistol grip.

@sharktooth455 James' model has a small hex screw that must be taken out. Also, once that is removed, JG usually glues on their flash hiders. Since I (Greg) have a JG G36c, I decided to take the flash hider off. I applied hot water to the flash hider in order to melt the glue, then took pliers and turned the flash hider COUNTER-clockwise. This is how it is usually done on JGs.

@Sightoz Well these are specifically airsoft guns, try to make a distinction between them, because most people think of metal BBs that shoot at high velocity when they hear "BB Gun." And to answer your question, the airsoft guns with batteries are called Automatic Electric Guns (AEGs), and most rely solely on the battery for its energy source. Other types that do NOT use batteries are Gas operated guns, spring guns, and any other crazy gun thats out there (lets just say nuclear for fun)
