  • Long Beach, yeah. I used to listen to the 707's rattle my house on takeoff from 30. Good times back before stage 4.

  • It was probably a manual landing good video though

  • If you are a pilot and have flown into Ontario, Ca about an hour and a half east of LAX, you know that the runway is so wide, it's as if you could land anywhere w/o a worry. As long as you keep it on the hardtop, it's all good.

  • any reason he was that far off the centerline?

  • tsss you don't deserve any response

  • Ah, ILS rwy 30 Apch KLGB. I've flown that one a few times. Brings back memories.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • the terkas is said traffic-traffic! why? may by because was traffic close, in approach???the rapprochements!

  • Uh???????????

  • @777Sherkhan i think you mean TCAS? lol

  • i love guage instruements,guages such B707 727 767 partial and,DC8 B737 200 DC10 ,i miss thse plane!

  • I know what you mean.

  • nice video

  • hehe Love the single INS unit there... Call Airbus SOMEONE STOLE IT FROM CONCORDE!!! hehe Id take the INS over the GPS :D

  • I think you mean ILS

  • Nope - it's definately a Carasel INS unit. I used these in the 80's on a B707.

  • I think it has FMS on the center pedestal.Ew..... INS :P

  • INS = intertial navigation system, its alll i know about it :)

  • fuel pumps

  • nice centerline

  • That's what I call a LANDING!!!

  • The constant clicking was not a stall alarm.

If it was I bet they would have paniced. The beep, was the pilot taking off, one or more of the autopilits, I assume it was Auttothrottle.

  • It could be the Trim, just as you come into approach, the aircraft has to be slowed down, and the trim is taken down to about 2 to three notches(after the engiens are slowed down to match a speed upon final approach),the beep was a near by Aircraft

  • great landing

  • It is him turning off the auto pilot,

it makes that noise, if they were stalling it

    would sound like a buzzer

  • nice video cool man

  • In the details it writes "250kt/h"... that should be 250 nautical miles per hour, a knot is not a unit for the measuring of distance.

  • Well, sometimes this happen...

  • Why did the pilot land to the left of the centerline????

  • When I fly I often land to the left or right of the C/L to avoid all the rubber left by those who went before me. It can be slippery on a wet day and lengthens your rollout. Also, the center strips at some airports play hell with your nosewheel shortening their life. IOW, on the runway is on the runway.

  • Perhaps the runway has centerline lights. They can be a bit bumpy. Hey, the runway is probably 150 feet wide, so might as well use it.

  • smetimes they can't

  • cool vid.

  • Nice landing!

  • awesome smooth landing

  • Guess what i wanna be in that seat one day! Landing a jet! (i want to become a pilot)

  • im making the pilot license atm and i tell you its not easy, its hard to find a job as a pilot even when you have the license lol because they pic 2 pilotes out of thousand

    @ stuka101

  • Amazing how quiet instruments have become since this GIII was produced. Some loud rats running the wheels for those gyros. Nice video. Thanks for sharing.

  • Were you flying or filming? Flying is one of those things that interests me very much, but for the safety of myself and others I would never become a pilot lol.

  • dude crashes are rare go be a pilot.

  • i love planes and im goona become a pilot wen i get older

  • why wait until you get old... im 20 and am just months away from gettin my commercial rating.
