  • Hey, what grain bullet do these like?

Would I be better off with 115gr or 124gr?

    Thanks!

  • @gigidy5 It seems to shoot them both equally well, though it hits about four inches low.

  • @gigidy5 FMJs only too. No hollowpoints.

  • Yes please, do a part 2 video on your P01. I noticed the dual recoil springs, are their replacement springs easily available?

  • How's the trigger on your P01? How easy is it to field strip for cleaning?

  • @snoozer987 Very easy, but there are a couple of quirks...I should just do a video on it.

  • Hey Mike, did you notice how similar this gun is to a Beretta 92? Beretta copied too many things to count from this gun :)

  • @KiloSierraAlpha I wish Beretta had copied the trigger pull...can't stand Beretta triggers.

  • So I was at my local pawnshop and there is a colt saa for only 400.00, it is very nice with no scratches or noticable damage. but i was at a gun show and the same type of gun was 1300.00. i just wanted to know the different.

  • @hellomynameisnipple If it is actually a Colt, that is an incredible bargain. I'd check it over carefully to be sure it isn't just a Colt clone.

  • Another great vidieo ! I've wanted one of these for years.

  • curiously

the french MAC mle 50 is a upgrade of the WW2 PA Mle 35 S

the suiss sig P210 is a upgrade of the the WW2 PA Mle 35 A

the german P1 pistol is a upgrade of the WW2 P38

  • I sure do love those things. Probably one of best designs to come out of WWII, besides the Browning Hi-Power, but the P-38 doesn't give you hammer bite. :P

  • Looks like ya got Boris in the 'toddles' a few times Mike! Good shootin' :)

  • ---well...'toodles' I meant

  • @GunnerGatlin I got the picture. *LOL*

  • I remember Boris.

  • 2:08 you shot Boris in the nuts. =P

  • Thanks Mike!

  • "It's been rode hard and put away wet"... I will have to remember that phrase! That gun shoots really well, despite its antecedents. Nice video.

  • @TheLegumMagister It shoots pretty good. Hitting a little low, but I want to play with more ammo...different loads...before I mess with the sights.

  • mike , thats the first time ive had a pesky ad at the start of one of your vids . despite this , nice one . must be a total contrast to shooting the colts with swept back grips and instant pointability , the p38 grips look to be almost at right angles to the barrel

  • @neonpike Hey Pike, those ads put some beans on my table. Don't be afraid to click one every now and then. :-)

  • I have a German Army P1 I bought from Aim last year. I was just out today shooting it in the snow. It is nice shooter and well worth the money. Feels almost as nice in your hand as my CZ-75 and just as accurrate.

  • Nice!

  • Oh and a P-35 Hi-power!

  • I read somewhere that the post war P1 were inaccurate. The P38 has been on my wishlist since I was a child,P38,Luger,SIG 210 round out my European military pistol lottery win list.

  • @mrtlsimon I would really like a SIG P210, but the prices make me faint.

  • Natasha is going to come after you,you made her a Cold War widow.

  • I'm surprised you have any of these new-fangled slide-firing doohikeys! They'll never catch on. :D

  • @jeffshootsstuff Probably not...I keep 'em around "just in case..." :-)

  • first
