A wonderful clip here, love the nostalgia..however I disliked the music quite a bit. Maybe if you had some period christmas music to go along with it..I've seen this done with other old silent clips and it really gives a disjointed feeling to the whole thing. Love what you're doing, I've watched a lot of your stuff just for nostalgia sake. Keep up the great work.
I know what you are saying but this music did work for me, perhaps I was just really taken by the vintage clip and the music was not a factor. You could try turning the sound off and just viewing the clip. I would imagine that Ira really tries hard to get these posts up and there is so much more work to do. Well, just a thought anyway, no criticism intended.
What movie did this come from? Does the entire thing still exist or was this the only part that still exists? I love these old clips. This one seemed quite charming.
